Iowa Department of Public Health SFY 2015 Annual County Service Contract Listing. This publication strives to identify all service contracts administered by the Iowa Department of Public Health during the period of July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. Contracts may have been increased or decreased, and contract titles changed during the published period. Contracts listed in this summary are shown in alphabetical order by contractor within the county. Interdepartmental Agreements with state government agencies are at the back of the listing. Each page is divided into eight columns which identify the following: column 1: the county of the contractor; column 2: the contractor; column 3: the contract number; column 4: the contract title; column 5: the contract amount; column 6: the funding source; column 7: the start date of the contract and column 8: the end date of the contract.

FY 2007 Biodiesel Fuel Revolving Fund Expenditures Report

The Seventy-ninth General Assembly of the State of Iowa, 2001 Regular Session, passed Senate File 465 which was signed by the Governor on April 19, 2001. This act created the biodiesel fuel revolving fund (Fund) to be used to purchase biodiesel fuel for use in the Department of Transportation's (DOT) vehicles. The act directed that the Fund receive money from the sale of EPA credits banked by the DOT on the effective date of the act, moneys appropriated by the General Assembly, and any other moneys obtained or accepted by the DOT for deposit in the Fund. The act also directed the DOT to submit an annual report not later than January 31 of the expenditures made from the Fund during the preceding fiscal year. This is the sixth annual report under the act. In FY 2007, the DOT purchased from the Fund 14,958 gallons of neat soy oil for $31,615, or an average of $2.11 per gallon. This yielded 74,791 gallons of B 20, which is 20 percent biodiesel by volume. Since the beginning of FY 2008, the Fund has received deposits totaling $59,000 which are being used for continued biodiesel purchases.

This is a second report, submitted by Benjamin F. Shaughbum, on the Public Archives for the time period of September 18, 1906 to May 11, 1907. As a "program for immediate action" six recommendations were submitted to the Trustees of the State Library and Historical Department of Iowa under the date of September 18, 1906.

I-74 Iowa/Illinois Corridor Study Aesthetic Design Guideline April 6, 2009

The I-74 Aesthetic Design Guideline (ADG) document has two primary goals: To establish and identify an overall design theme To prioritize enhancement opportunities within the framework of corridor elements The recommendations of this report have been developed based on an “unconstrained” framework for future corridor–wide enhancements. Future funding availability, along with the recommendations of this report, will guide the final design process. ADG Future Uses: This document is intended to be used as a reference to future processes in the following ways: Guidance for I-74 final design teams Reference document for future local community redevelopment initiatives Inspiration for identification and development of other I-74 corridor aesthetic enhancement opportunities Process: As illustrated in Figure 1.3, the overall process for corridor aesthetics began traditionally with inventory and identification of potential aesthetic applications. The ADG does not document all the reports and presentations related to these early design stages, but has incorporated these efforts into the design theme, guiding principles and prioritized enhancements shown on the following pages of this report. The I-74 final design phase will incorporate these recommendations into the project. The consultant design team and representatives of the DOTs have worked with the CAAT members to facilitate community input and have helped develop recommendations for improving I-74 corridor aesthetics. CAAT recommendations have been advanced to the I-74 Advisory Committee for review and endorsement. Both DOTs have reviewed the CAAT recommendations and have endorsed the contents of this report. Figure 1.4 illustrates the status of corridor aesthetic design development. As of the date of this report, aesthetic design is approximately 50% complete. Future detailed design, cost evaluation, feasibility and prioritizations all need to occur for this process to be successfully completed.
