History has taken its toll on Muchakinock Creek. A number of problems over the years have led to the stream’s current state, one that’s landed it on Iowa’s list of impaired waters. However, the stream is also full of opportunity. The opportunity to improve water quality not only for the aquatic life and wildlife that live there, but also to pass along clean water to future generations of Iowans.
