This order directs Article IV, section 9 of the constitution of the State of Iowa provides that the Governor shall ensure the laws are faithfully executed. In this Executive Order many other Orders were resented.

This order has developed a Task Force for the Department of Human Services to schedule trauma-informed care training for staff at the Iowa Juvenile Home within 30 days. Titled Iowa Juvenile Home protection Task Force.

Executive Order Number Eighty-Three October 16, 2013

This order mandates that the State of Iowa, not the federal government or any other organization, shall determine the content of Iowa's state academic standards, which are known as the Iowa Core. The Iowa Department of Education shall develop a regular review cycle for the Iowa Core, including public comment, to determine the contents of and to continually improve state, academic standards.

In this order the governor declares that The University of Northern Iowa's Center for Violence Prevention shall establish the Governor's Office for Bullying Prevention. The Office's mission shall be to empower schools to provide and every student with a safe and respectful learning environment.

Iowa Utilities Board Fiscal Year 2016 Regulatory Plan Pursuant to Executive Order Nine

The plan is prepared in compliance with Executive Order Number Nine, issued September 14, 1999. Section IV of that order defines a “regulatory action” as a potential rule that is currently under active consideration or development with the agency that the agency reasonably expects to issue in proposed or final form.
