The Public Health Agency's bowel cancer screening programme awareness campaign launch took place on Friday 3 February 2012 at PHA, Ormeau Avenue, Belfast.�The public information campaign includes television, radio, press, outdoor advertising on buses and washroom advertisements. It runs from �6 February- 31 March, 2012.Attached below are the�public information leaflets and posters as part of the campaign.

The F.A.S.T materials (poster/leaflet/wallet card) convey the signs and symptoms of stroke, and the call to action, that it's a medical emergency to call 999 immediately if you see any one of these signs. A fast response to the signs and symptoms of stroke can reduce the long term health consequences such as disability and death. Attached below are the�public information leaflets (male and female version), posters and wallet card available as part of the campaign.

To help encourage, facilitate and empower people to adopt healthy lifestyles and to raise awareness of obesity and its causes in order to reduce its prevalence within the target community. Outcome Through Health Classes, Leaflets and Posters, people have developed their knowledge and understanding of obesity. The relationship between members of the community and the pharmacist has also developed as as has the Pharmacists links with GPs, Dieticians, Leisure Centre Management etcï_… All participants thought the healthy weight challenge was a good idea, made them more aware of health and the pharmacy was able to offer advice, information, support and health checks. regular monitoring also helped have a positive impact on participants desire to lose weight and also had positive impact on their efforts to have healthier lifestyle.

It was important to us to engage with as many students as possible throughout the process of developing a new name for the reformed junior cycle. In this vein, we used a wide variety of methods to engage with students in order to capture as many ideas as possible; text messaging, Facebook, Twitter, email and consultation sessions. We circulated posters to all schools via post and/or email, and contacted schools in catchment areas for the consultation sessions by phone. In our consultation sessions, we had discussions with the participating students about what the new junior cycle would be, closely guided by the content of “Towards a Framework for Junior Cycle” from the National Council for Curriculum and assessment. In these sessions, students then gave feedback on what they thought of the reformed junior cycle, developed their own ideas, and identified what they thought should be reflected in the name of the reformed junior cycle
