La pose au cinéma : film et tableau en corps-à-corps

Le motif de la pose et l'arrêt du mouvement qu'elle implique ont, le plus souvent, été rejetés par le médium cinématographique. Cependant certains cinéastes se sont attelés à représenter la pose, en en faisant un véritable lieu d'expérimentation de la mise en scène du corps et de la confrontation entre les codes des arts plastiques et les codes du cinéma. Cette communication montrera comment ces « corps-à-corps » esthétiques ont déterminé le traitement filmique de la pose - tant celle qui, dans l'atelier d'artiste, précède le tableau, que celle qui le rejoue dans l'exercice du tableau vivant -, depuis La Chute de la Maison Usher (Epstein, 1928) jusqu'à La Belle Noiseuse (Rivette, 1991), en passant par La Ricotta (Pasolini, 1962) et Passion (Godard, 1981).

Enzymes musculaires et exercice physique [Muscle enzyme activity and exercise]

Exercise is classically associated with muscular soreness, presenting one to two days later, delayed onset muscular soreness. Blood muscle enzymes and protein elevations are characteristic, and may cause renal failure. Creatin phosphokinase peak appears on the fourth day and depends on exercise type and individual parameters. This effect is attenuated with repeated bouts, by habituation. Metabolic complications are rare. The knowledge of this reaction, even with common exercises, allows to postpone investigations for a complex metabolic disorder, or to avoid stopping a medication for fear of a side effect, as with statins. Indeed, it is necessary to wait for seven days without any exercise before interpreting an elevated CK result.

Santé et besoins en soins des personnes âgées: différences liées au genre [Health status and care giving needs in the elderly: gender related differences].

The health status and need for care differ depending on the gender. The most notable differences are life expectancy, life expectancy in good health and the prevalence of geriatric syndromes or chronic illnesses. Some social health determinants (social isolation or financial precariousness) seem to act as risk factors for vulnerability, mostly amongst old or very old women. Through some examples of differences between men and women in terms of health and caregiving needs, this article tries to heighten the awareness of health professionals to a gender based approach of the elderly patient in order to promote the best possible equity in healthcare.

Adhésion thérapeutique aux traitements oncologiques oraux et prise en charge interdisciplinaire [Therapeutic adherence to oral cancer therapy and interdisciplinary management].

Medication adherence is a well-known risk factor in internal medicine. However in oncology this dimension is emerging due to the increasing number of oral formulations. First results in the oral oncology literature suggest that patients' ability to cope with medical prescription decreases with time. This might preclude patients from reaching clinical outcomes. Factors impacting on medication adherence to oral oncology treatments have not been yet extensively described neither strategies to address them and support patient's needs. Oncologists and pharmacists in our University outpatient settings performed a pilot study which aimed at measuring and facilitating adherence to oral oncology treatments and at understanding determinants of patient's adherence. The ultimate purpose of such a patient-centered and interdisciplinary collaboration would be to promote patient self-management and complement the standard medical follow-up.

Troubles de l'humeur et VIH: épidémiologie, clinique et prise en charge thérapeutique [Mood disorders in HIV patients: a challenge for liaison psychiatry consultation].

Mood disorders represent the most prevalent psychiatric condition in patients infected by HIV virus. Screening and treatment of depression as well as the evaluation of the risk suicide is of the utmost importance. When psychopharmacological treatment is required, interaction with antiretroviral treatment must be carefully considered. More generally a close collaboration between the physician and the psychiatrist is recommended.

Le petit ouvrage de Roland Campiche répond à deux objectifs. Le premier est de rappeler au public helvétique que si la religion joue un rôle différent depuis 50 ans, elle n'en est pas moins demeurée un acteur de la scène tant publique que privée de notre pays. Le second est de défendre l'idée d'une dualisation de la religion. Cette notion n'est pas nouvelle, puisque le sociologue, fondateur de l'Observatoire des religions en Suisse (ORS) à l'Université de Lausanne, l'avait déjà émise dans son livre "Les deux visages de la religion".
