El lloc teatral i el seu espai escènic: artialització en William Shakespeare (c..1590-1611) : actor, empresari, dramaturg

Pensar en William Shakespeare, apropar-se a una de l'obres què més tinta han fet córrer, se'ns presenta com voler trobar una agulla en un paller. Amb tot, aquest treball de recerca a volgut discernir la dramatúrgia de Shakespeare, des de l'òptica espacial i estètica. El seu marc, a l'Anglaterra renaixentista -ss,XVI-XVII-, és: l'abundosa legislació -important l'Acta promulgada l'any 1572, per la reina Elisabet I-; la tipologia constructiva i formal del Lloc del Teatre, amb la formulació empresarial què se’n deriva; l'altre element, la participació de l'espectador implícit. Conclusivament, com l'artialització shakespeariana s'insereix, podem dir, 'dramatològicament', dins l'historiografia general del teatre.

Producción y Productividad Agrícolas en la Isla de Mallorca, 1590-1860

This paper proposes a detailed measurement of the agricultural development of the island of Majorca from the late sixteenth century to the midnineteenth century, with an emphasis on the products which made up the bulk of the island’s agricultural production. The authors have organized most of the existing databases in the island’s archives and have also incorporated quantitative and qualitative material from their own research and that of other colleagues. Due to their quality and regularity, the data are among the richest known for pre-industrial Europe. These sources lead to some conclusions which link with recent debates in European economic history concerning the calculation of economic growth in economies for periods before statistics were kept. The text presents a methodological analysis covering almost 80 per cent of agricultural production of the island of Majorca and leaves conclusions to be supplemented by further studies of the manufacturing and service sectors

Las redes comerciales del libro en la colonia: «peruleros» y libreros en la Carrera de Indias (1590-1620)

Se analiza una muestra de envíos de libros remitidos en los barcos que realizaron la travesía atlántica a los puertos americanos. Se trata de envíos de títulos impresos europeos destinados al abastecimiento del virreinato del Perú. En este tráfico de libros jugaron un papel clave los mercaderes que compraron títulos que enviaron a particulares, mercaderes o libreros establecidos en Perú.
