Adorno es un referente en la disciplina musicológica. Convencido de que el hombre a través de la dialéctica materialista podía entender el mundo y cambiarlo, consideraba que el arte no debía ser mero exponente de la sociedad, sino fermento de ese cambio. La sociedad debía transformarse a sí misma desde ella misma, y el arte, producto de la sociedad, era un medio para ello. Ante el fenómeno fetichista de la sociedad industrializada, éste debía presentarse como antítesis de la misma, siendo la única vía posible para la conservación de su carácter de verdad el aislamiento. En el ámbito musical fue Schönberg quien se mostró distante al público de su tiempo a través de una música antagónica y disonante que reflejaba el momento de horror, angustia y barbarie del hombre contemporáneo.

Proyecto de aplicación para dispositivos móviles que utiliza la Realidad Aumentada (RA) para contextualizar obras artísticas. Es un producto pensado para museos y galerías pero también para espacios exteriores que posean elementos de valor cultural. Sin embargo, y para servir de ejemplo se ha aplicado en seis piezas destacadas del Museo Episcopal de Vic. Aunque en Europa y EE.UU. los museos ya están innovando en este terreno, en España, que es donde se enmarca el proyecto, existe una carencia de elementos de mediación cultural como estos; sobre todo en los museos de arte donde las obras acostumbran a presentarse despojadas de cualquier herramienta que proporcione información complementaria. Existe, por tanto, una descontextualización del arte que crea barreras para el entendimiento del público general. De esta situación de carencia parte el objetivo principal del producto, el de aprovechar las posibilidades de la RA para mejorar la experiencia y el diálogo entre el visitante y la obra, aportando conocimiento y fomentando el aprendizaje.

Background:There is no actual evidence that the ART are directly related to the occurrence of weight discordance. In some studies, ART-­‐conceived twin pregnancies are at greater risk than non-­‐ART-­‐conceived ones for pregnancy complications and adverse perinatal outcome: the incidences of pregnancy-­‐induced hypertension, uterine bleeding, premature contractions, IUGR, fetal death, discordance, and cesarean section were significantly higher. Discordance rate was elevated (25.3% vs.17.0%) among ART twins, which can increase perinatal risk (increased incidence of SGA and NICU admission). Other studies say that perinatal and neonatal morbidity, gestational age at delivery, and birth weight are not affected by ART. Regarding the first trimester ultrasound, some studies didn’t notice significant differences in CRL disparity or birth weight discordance between spontaneous and ART-­‐ conceived dichorionic twin pregnancies. In ART-­‐conceived dichorionic twin pregnancies, CRL disparity may be associated with birth weight discordance. In some studies, CRL discordance in twin pregnancies in the first trimester was a frequent finding. Objectives: To analyze the association of the ART in the occurrence of weight discordance in the pregnancies between 2010 and 2013 in the Hospital Universitari de Girona Doctor Josep Trueta, and to describe the proportion of diagnosis of growth discordance in the first trimester by the ultrasonography technology. Methods: A retrospective cohort study will be performed in those patients with twin pregnancies between 2010 and 2013, within the Hospital Universitari de Girona Doctor Josep Trueta (HUJT). A retrospective and descriptive study will be done in those cases with discordance weight in the moment of the birth, in which the CRL will be studied in the first trimester ultrasound, describing the percentage of discordance detected in that moment. Aquest treball de final de grau, té com objectiu realitzar un estat de la qüestió sobre tots els estudis i treballs realitzats, al voltant de la figura de l’artista María Gutiérrez Blanchard. D’una banda, s’ha buscat tota la bibliografia existent sobre ella, fent un recompte del total de les obres i comentant els anys de publicació. A més, s’ha analitzat totes les que s’han pogut consultar; presentant les aportacions, coincidències i dissidències que hi ha entre elles. Per una altra banda, i a partir de les informacions llegides en la bibliografia sobre l’artista, s’ha buscat la presència que té aquesta en les publicacions sobre els moviments, escoles o artistes ,amb els que va tenir algun vincle o relació (Escola de París, cubisme, Juan Gris i art i gènere), en els diccionaris i enciclopèdies d’història de l’art i en diferents documents electrònics.. Aquesta comparació de diferents treballs, m’ha donat l’oportunitat de veure les aportacions o punts positius de tots ells, per tal de conèixer a María Gutiérrez Blanchard i la seva obra; però també, m’ha permès ser conscient de les mancances o punts negatius, i així adonar-me que encara queda molta feina per a fer, per tal de conèixer a fons la seva figura. Cal destacar, el punt de vista masclista des del que s’ha analitzat l’obra d’aquesta artista, establint un forta connexió entre la seva obra i la vida personal (malformació física). .Aquest punt de vista ha estat fortament criticat, principalment durant els darrers anys, des de la bibliografia d’art i gènere, especialment per Xon de Ros, que aporta reflexions molt interessants.

Habitualmente la formación inicial de profesionales de la educación suele realizarse en los contextos universitarios, las escuelas son consideradas contextos para realizar las prácticas y los museos y centros de arte tienen poca presencia en la formación de maestros. Por ello desde la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la UdL y en el contexto de la formación inicial de maestros y psicopedagogos empezamos a entretejer la red entre la Facultad, los centros educativos y los recursos culturales comunitarios para mejorar la formación de todas las personas implicadas. Concretamente, estamos desarrolando el espacio híbrido en el marco del proyecto Educ-arte dando especial énfasis a las relaciones creadas entre la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación, el Centro de Arte la Panera y la escuela Príncep de Viana de Lleida. Para ello utilizamos el arte contemporáneo como mediador de aprendizajes y como instrumento de formación y construcción de conocimientos. Nuestra aportación está enmarcada en los planteamientos socioconstructivistas que sitúan la cultura como elemento básico para la humanización de las personas. Es por ello que en nuestro entretejer situamos los recursos comunitarios culturales en general y museos y centros de arte en particular como parte esencial del trabajo en red.

Is there a link between decentralized governance and conflict prevention? This article tries to answer the question by presenting the state of the art of the intersection of both concepts. Provided that social conflict is inevitable and given the appearance of new threats and types of violence, as well as new demands for security based on people (human security), our societies should focus on promoting peaceful changes. Through an extensive analysis of the existing literature and the study of several cases, this paper suggests that decentralized governance can contribute to these efforts by transforming conflicts, bringing about power-sharing and inclusion incentives of minority groups. Albeit the complexity of assessing its impact on conflict prevention, it can be contended that decentralized governance might have very positive effects on the reduction of causes that bring about conflicts due to its ability to foster the creation of war/violence preventors. More specifically, this paper argues that decentralization can have a positive impact on the so-called triggers and accelerators (short- and medium-term causes).

This paper presents the preliminary findings of pH and colour measurements carried out on artworks on paperand on wood that had been treated with a poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAC) based adhesive in the 1980s. In both cases, areas treated with PVAC proved to be less acidic than untreated areas. Contrary to expectations, the conservation treatments have not, as yet, increased acidity levels in the objects under study. Colour measurements of the works on paper showed that those that had been backed with a cotton fabric using a mixture of methylcellulose and PVAC were less yellow than those from the same print run that had not been backed. This finding suggests that the backing somehow prevented the natural degradation of the support. In view of these preliminary results, further research is clearly needed. This study forms part of a broader ongoing project to assess the role of PVAC in the conservation of a range of cultural assets.

What is the use of representing in performance the image of the cave from book VII of Plato’s Republic? Josep Palau i Fabre considers that in Plato’s dialogues the speakers are mere instruments at the service of his dialectical purpose. The aim of this article is to show how, by turning the myth into a tragedy and relying on Heraclitus’s conflict or war of opposites, the playwright succeeds in favouring a sort of thought which is not one-sided or univocal. On the contrary, in Palau i Fabre’s La Caverna, the tragic hero, the released prisoner transformed by the light of Reality and finally killed by his “cavemates” –after having been imprisoned again and having tried to rescue them from their ignorance or shadows– still leaves them his powerful experience of the agonistikós thought, which might bear fruit in their life to come.
