Coordenades clàssiques de Shadowlands de Richard Attenborough (sobre la vida i obra de C. S. Lewis)

L'objectiu d'aquest article és mostrar els parámetres clàssics de Shadowlands de R. Attenborough, amb guió de W. Nicholson, sobre la vida i obra de C. S. Lewis. Basant-se en una anàlisi acurada dels textos de Lewis, l'autor proposa d'interpretar l'oposició Lewis / Gresham com la traducció en la vida real de la oposició entre els temperaments platònic o idealista i aristotèlic o materialista que ja mencionava Coleridge. En qualsevol cas, són moltes les referències clàssiques que cal tenir en compte si volem comprendre fins a quin punt el cristianisme de Lewis és també un cristianisme clàssic, és a dir, grecollatí.

Guerra y crisis generacional: el caso de Jean-Richard Bloch

El presente artículo trata de mostrar cómo la primera guerra mundial originó entre los intelectuales franceses un particular concepto de generación: se consideran una generación malograda, incapaz de haber podido evitar la catástrofe y, a la vez, inexperta para construir una nueva coherencia social. El análisis toma como eje principal al escritor Jean-Richard Bloch cuyas tesis son comparadas con las de sus contemporáneos con el fin de reconstruir el contexto cultural que condiciona tanto sus vidas privadas como sus trayectorias artísticas.

V0 production in p+A collisions at √s = 41.6 GeV

Inclusive doubly differential cross sections d 2 σ pA /dx F   dp T 2 as a function of Feynman-x (x F ) and transverse momentum (p T ) for the production of K S 0 , Λ and Λ¯ in proton-nucleus interactions at 920 GeV are presented. The measurements were performed by HERA-B in the negative x F range (−0.12p to p T =1.6 GeV/c. Results for three target materials: carbon, titanium and tungsten are given. The ratios of production cross sections are presented and discussed. The Cronin effect is clearly observed for all three V 0 species. The atomic number dependence is parameterized as σ pA =σ pN ⋅A α where σ pN is the proton-nucleon cross section. The measured values of α are all near one. The results are compared with EPOS 1.67 and PYTHIA 6.3. EPOS reproduces the data to within ≈20% except at very low transverse momentum.
