Una extensión de la regresión propuesta por Geweke y Porter-Hudak para la estimación del orden de diferenciación en modelos ARFIMA

Recientemente, ha aumentado mucho el interés por la aplicación de los modelos de memoria larga a variables económicas, sobre todo los modelos ARFIMA. Sin duda , el método más usado para la estimación de estos modelos en el ámbito del análisis económico es el propuesto por Geweke y Portero-Hudak (GPH) aun cuando en trabajos recientes se ha demostrado que, en ciertos casos, este estimador presenta un sesgo muy importante. De ahí que, se propone una extensión de este estimador a partir del modelo exponencial propuesto por Bloomfield, y que permite corregir este sesgo.A continuación, se analiza y compara el comportamiento de ambos estimadores en muestras no muy grandes y se comprueba como el estimador propuesto presenta un error cuadrático medio menor que el estimador GPH

On the contrary, in Palau i Fabre's La Caverna, the tragic hero, that is, the released prisoner transformed by the light of Reality and finally killed by his "cavemates" -after having been imprisoned again and having tried to rescue them from their ignorance or shadows-, still leaves to them his powerful experience of the agonistikos thought, which might bear fruit in their life to come.

Comparació del servei en curt i en llarg del porter dins de la fase ofensiva del joc

En el procés ofensiu de la majoria d’equips de futbol, es pot distingir una tendència a jugar en base a dos estils de joc. Un estil basat en un joc en curt, per tal de poder mantenir la possessió de la pilota, i estar durant més temps atacant la porteria contraria. I un altre estil que prefereix buscar la profunditat en les seves accions, anant d’una forma més directe cap a la porteria rival. En aquest treball es pretén analitzar quin dels dos estils és millor perquè un equip encadeni un total de 6 accions, tenint com a referència en l’inici de la jugada al porter. Per tal d’aconseguir-ho s’analitzaran els 24 partits de la fase de grups de l’Eurocopa 2012 a través d’una metodologia pròpia, que ens permetrà saber a través de quines situacions rep la pilota el porter abans de posar la pilota en joc, i a través de quines accions, l’equip no és capaç d’assolir el nombre d’encadenaments marcat.
