Sobre la puesta en marcha del nuevo sistema de financiación regional: proyecciones para 2009 y algunas reflexiones

This paper presents an estimate of the financial results of the new Spanish system of regional financing in 2009. According to these estimates, some regions will experience sharp reductions in their adjusted financing per capita between 2007 and 2009 which may be very difficult to accept. This would mean that there will be strong pressures for the reform of the new system from the very beginning. To avoid, or at least mitigate, this problem it would be helpful to introduce some changes in the bill currently being discussed by the Parliament. The necessary changes would not alter the nucleus of the recent agreement.

Aquest treball documenta l’estada a Barcelona, entre el 1794 i 1798, dels germans Joseph i Peter Petrides, trompistes nascuts a Praga. L’excepcional trajectòria d’ambdós a la capital catalana, com a membres de l’orquestra del Teatre de la Santa Creu i com a solistes destacats, il·lustra el desenvolupament de l’ofici de músic a la ciutat durant l’última dècada del segle XVIII.

Aplicació dels sistemes d'informació geogràfica per gestionar informació cadastral

Aquest treball de final de carrera (TFC) constitueix un petit estudi dels sistemes d'informació geogràfica (SIG) per a gestionar una informació cadastral, i mira d'oferir una visió general dels SIG a qualsevol persona física o jurídica o a qualsevol ens públic o privat interessat en el tema. Així mateix, es vol despertar l'interès per aquests sistemes d'informació amb l'estudi més particularitzat d'una informació cadastral perquè aquesta pot proporcionar una informació més atractiva a un ampli sector de la població.

New evidence on inflation persistence and price stickiness in the Euro area: Implications for macro modelling

This paper evaluates new evidence on price setting practices and inflation persistence in the euro area with respect to its implications for macro modelling. It argues that several of the most commonly used assumptions in micro-founded macro models are seriously challenged by the new findings.
