La reacción española ante la revolución portuguesa a través de la prensa. El tratamiento de los principales diarios (1974-1976)

En este trabajo se presenta un proyecto para realizar el análisis de la reacción española aún durante el Franquismo ante la Revolución de los Claveles en Portugal. Esta Revolución terminó con el anterior régimen dictatorial. La reacción española será analizada a través de su propia prensa diaria, sobre todo a través de diarios publicados en Madrid y en Barcelona. Se buscará definir cual la relevancia concedida por la prensa a los hechos portugueses, y cual su postura frente el cambio portugués. Para eso se analizarán los diarios madrileños ABC, Informaciones, Arriba y Pueblo, y los diarios barceloneses La Vanguardia Española y Tele/eXpres.

A citation analysis of Catalan literary studies (1974-2003): towards a bibliometrics of humanities studies in minority languages

A citation analysis was carried out on the most important research journals in the field of Catalan literature between 1974 and 2003. The indicators and qualitative parameters obtained show the value of performing citation analysis in cultural and linguistic areas that are poorly covered by the A&HCI. Catalan literature shows a similar pattern to that of humanities in general, but it could still be in a stage of consolidation because too little work has as yet been published.

The aim of this article is to show how, by turning the myth into a tragedy and also by relying on Heraclitus's conflict or war of opposites, the playwright succeeds in favoring a sort of thought which is not one-sided or univocal. On the contrary, in Palau i Fabre's La Caverna, the tragic hero, that is, the released prisoner transformed by the light of Reality and finally killed by his "cavemates" -after having been imprisoned again and having tried to rescue them from their ignorance or shadows-, still leaves to them his powerful experience of the agonistikos thought, which might bear fruit in their life to come.

Después de breve y grave enfermedad ha muerto en Lagenthal, Suiza, el gran liquenólogo helvético Dr. E. Frey. A lo largo de su dilatada vida trabajó en el campo de la taxonomía de los liqúenes (monografía de Cladoniáceas y Umbilicariáceas en la Rabenhorst's Kryptogamenflora, 1933), y en los de la florística y de la fitosociología de los liqúenes, campo este último en el que debe considerársele pionero en la aplicación de la metodología sigmatista al estudio de las comunidades de liqúenes de los Alpes Suizos.

El paper de Lluís Solé Sabarís en la "Geografia de Catalunya" (1958-1974)

Parlar de Lluís Solé Sabarís com a geògraf és una tasca que ultrapassa de molt les meves possibilitats, ja que no es tracta simplement d'escorcollar els aspectes mes geografics d'un geòleg. Ans al contrari, sense voler prejutjar la seva tasca immensa en el camp de la Geologia, cal dir tot seguit que Solé Sabarís és ell mateix un geògraf. Efectivament, des de les seves classes de Geografia a 1'Institut-escola «Giner de los Ríos» de la Generalitat a les seves activitats mes recents com a president de la Societat Catalana de Geografia, passant pel seu mestratge a tants de geografs al Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas de Barcelona o als cursets de Pirineus, o per bona part de les seves obres i escrits, arreu hi podem trobar l'alenar de tot un geògraf de l'escola francesa. L'anàlisi de tota aquesta tasca ultrapassa de molt les meves possibilitats. Moltes coses són encara massa recents, i de testimonis més qualificats n'hi ha també molts d'altres.

Santiago Llensa i de Gelcen (1911-1974)

Santiago Llensa nasqué a Hostalric (la Selva) el dia 9 de novembre de 1911. Era fili d'una familia arrelada a la comarca. Per part de la seva mare tenia però parents i interessos a Prada (el Confient), cosa que contribuí a fer que sempre mantingués uns certs lligams amb la cultura francesa.
