Basing its study on seven documentsfrom the years 916 to 1057, the place names are described and located on two maps marking the boundaries of the district of Solius (Santa Cristina d'Aro, Baix Empordà). There is an attempt to show, among these facts, that there actually existed three different districts of Solius, which we call here Solius Whole, Solius Maritime and Solius Continental; there is also reference made to the names of the different owners as well as the border relations with the neighbouring villages
