Effective squark/chargino/neutralino couplings: MadGraph implementation

We have included the effective description of squark interactions with charginos/neutralinos in the MadGraph MSSM model. This effective description includes the effective Yukawa couplings, and another logarithmic term which encodes the supersymmetry-breaking. We have performed an extensive test of our implementation analyzing the results of the partial decay widths of squarks into charginos and neutralinos obtained by using FeynArts/FormCalc programs and the new model file in MadGraph. We present results for the cross-section of top-squark production decaying into charginos and neutralinos.

Some spectral properties of the canonical solution operator to $\bar\partial$ on weighted Fock spaces

We characterize the Schatten class membership of the canonical solution operator to $\overline{\partial}$ acting on $L^2(e^{-2\phi})$, where $\phi$ is a subharmonic function with $\Delta\phi$ a doubling measure. The obtained characterization is in terms of $\Delta\phi$. As part of our approach, we study Hankel operators with anti-analytic symbols acting on the corresponding Fock space of entire functions in $L^2(e^{-2\phi})$

Políticas de dividendos y probabilidad de ruina

En este trabajo introducimos diversas clases de barreras del dividendo en la teoría modelo clásica de la ruina. Estudiamos la influencia de la estrategia de la barrera en probabilidad de la ruina. Un método basado en las ecuaciones de la renovación [Grandell (1991)], alternativa a la discusión diferenciada [Gerber (1975)], utilizado para conseguir las ecuaciones diferenciales parciales para resolver probabilidades de la supervivencia. Finalmente calculamos y comparamos las probabilidades de la supervivencia usando la barrera linear y parabólica del dividendo, con la ayuda de la simulación

Excitability transitions and wave dynamics under spatiotemporal structured noise

We present an analytic and numerical study of the effects of external fluctuations in active media. Our analytical methodology transforms the initial stochastic partial differential equations into an effective set of deterministic reaction-diffusion equations. As a result we are able to explain and make quantitative predictions on the systematic and constructive effects of the noise, for example, target patterns created out of noise and traveling or spiral waves sustained by noise. Our study includes the case of realistic noises with temporal and spatial structures.

This is not the first work devoted to this militant platform has been annalysed but Cattini's approach observes not only the ideological and political contest maintained with other sectors of the libertarian movement but the contrived militant tools that have allowed its existance during the Spanish Civil War.

Casagrande, Massimo: Gli impiantianti di adduzione idrica romani in Byzacena e in Zeugitana, Studi di Storia Antica e di Archeologia 4, Nuove Grafiche Puddu, Ortacesus, 2008, 351 p.

La obra de Massimo Casagrande es altamente interesante por dos motivos. Por un lado, llena un vacío en los trabajos relativos al norte de África romano y, por otro lado, se integra en una corriente mundial de máxima actualidad: la visión holística y diacrónica de la hidráulica antigua. Esta tendencia en la investigación está siendo protagonizada de modo incuestionable a escala internacional por la profesora Ella Hermon (Université de Laval) y su «Chaire de recherche du Canada en interactions société - environnement natural dans l¿Empire romain». En España es obligatorio mencionar el Seminario Agustín de Horozco (Universidad de Cádiz) y su proyecto «Captación, usos y administración del agua en los municipios de la Bética romana».

La relación del cristianismo con los espectáculos de la tradición romano-pagana, y muy especialmente las críticas que los Padres de la Iglesia dirigieron a todo tipo de manifestación lúdica, constituye un tema complejo y lleno de interés que desde hace unos cuarenta años ha generado la publicación de importantes monografías consagradas a este sujeto. Sin duda, un momento de inflexión fue la aparición, en 1972, del célebre libro de Werner Weismann, Kirche und Schauspiele. Die Schauspiele im Urteil der lateinischen Kirchenväter unter besonderer Berücksichtigung vom Augustin. Posteriormente han visto la luz nuevos trabajos dedicados a examinar esta cuestión.
