El objetivo de este trabajo fue el de evaluar la deposicin transversal de caldo de las boquillas pulverizadoras de doble abanico TTJ60-11004 y TTJ60-11002 en distintas condiciones operacionales. Se utilizaron 5 muestras de cada boquilla pulverizadora siendo considerada cada unidad, una repeticin. La distribucin de caldo fue evaluada por medio de una mesa de evaluacin de distribucin construida de acuerdo con la norma ISO 56821. Se evalu el perfil de distribucin individual, la distribucin volumtrica simulada de la superposicin de los chorros por medio del coeficiente de variacin (CV%) de los volmenes colectados, el caudal y el ngulo de abertura de los chorros. Las condiciones operacionales fueron: presin de trabajo de 200, 300 y 400 Kpa, altura de 30, 40 y 50 cm en relacin al blanco y espaciamiento entre boquillas simulados en Software (Microsoft Excel) entre 45 y 100 cm. Las boquillas presentaron perfil individual descontinuo con la mayor deposicin de lquido en la regin central y reduccin del volumen gradual en direccin a las extremidades. El aumento de la presin promovi alargamiento del perfil y de la franja de aplicacin. Las boquillas proporcionaron perfil uniforme que dependi del espaciamiento entre las boquillas, con valores menores con reduccin en el espaciamiento y en presiones mayores. El caudal y el ngulo del chorro aumentaron con el incremento en la presin.

This empirical study consists in an investigation of the effects, on the development of Information Problem Solving (IPS) skills, of a long-term embedded, structured and supported instruction in Secondary Education. Forty secondary students of 7th and 8th grades (1315 years old) participated in the 2-year IPS instruction designed in this study. Twenty of them participated in the IPS instruction, and the remaining twenty were the control group. All the students were pre- and post-tested in their regular classrooms, and their IPS process and performance were logged by means of screen capture software, to warrant their ecological validity. The IPS constituent skills, the web search sub-skills and the answers given by each participant were analyzed. The main findings of our study suggested that experimental students showed a more expert pattern than the control students regarding the constituent skill defining the problem and the following two web search sub-skills: search terms typed in a search engine, and selected results from a SERP. In addition, scores of task performance were statistically better in experimental students than in control group students. The paper contributes to the discussion of how well-designed and well-embedded scaffolds could be designed in instructional programs in order to guarantee the development and efficiency of the students IPS skills by using net information better and participating fully in the global knowledge society.

This paper aims to better understand the development of students learning processes when participating actively in a specific Computer Supported Collaborative Learning system called KnowCat. To this end, a longitudinal case study was designed, in which eighteen university students took part in a 12-month (two semesters) learning project. During this time period, the students followed an instructional process, using some elements of KnowCat (KnowCat key features) design to support and improve their interaction processes, especially peer learning processes. Our research involved both supervising the students collaborative learning processes throughout the learning project and focusing our analysis on the qualitative evolution of the students interaction processes and on the development of metacognitive learning processes. The results of the current research reveal that the instructional application of the CSCL-KnowCat system may favour and improve the development of the students metacognitive learning processes. Additionally, the implications of the design of computer supported collaborative learning networks and pedagogical issues are discussed in this paper.

Aim of study: To identify species of wood samples based on common names and anatomical analyses of their transversal surfaces (without microscopic preparations). Area of study: Spain and South America Material and methods: The test was carried out on a batch of 15 lumber samples deposited in the Royal Botanical Garden in Madrid, from the expedition by Ruiz and Pavon (1777-1811). The first stage of the methodology is to search and to make a critical analysis of the databases which list common nomenclature along with scientific nomenclature. A geographic filter was then applied to the information resulting from the samples with a more restricted distribution. Finally an anatomical verification was carried out with a pocket microscope with a magnification of x40, equipped with a 50 micrometers resolution scale. Main results: The identification of the wood based exclusively on the common name is not useful due to the high number of alternative possibilities (14 for naranjo, 10 for bano, etc.). The common name of one of the samples (huachapel mulato) enabled the geographic origin of the samples to be accurately located to the shipyard area in Guayaquil (Ecuador). Given that Ruiz y Pavon did not travel to Ecuador, the specimens must have been obtained by Tafalla. It was possible to determine correctly 67% of the lumber samples from the batch. In 17% of the cases the methodology did not provide a reliable identification. Research highlights: It was possible to determine correctly 67% of the lumber samples from the batch and their geographic provenance. The identification of the wood based exclusively on the common name is not useful.

En el presente trabajo se plantea la elaboracin e interpretacin del mapa de anomalas de Bouguer del Sistema Transversal Cataln. La caracterstica ms destacada del mapa es el marcado dominio de la tendencia regional, producida por el aumento de grosor de la corteza terrestre hacia el NW. La sustraccin de este efecto regional se ha realizado utilizando el mtodo de ajuste a superficies polinmicas por mnimos cuadrados. La interpretacin cuantitativa del mapa de anomalas residuales obtenido refleja la estructura en bloques del basamento.

[spa]Identificar las dificultades halladas en el proceso de aprendizaje con la especial relacin entre el esfuerzo y el logro experimentada por los estudiantes implica afrontar uno de los problemas fundamentales del aprendizaje. El presente artculo pretende abordar los aprendizajes vinculados a las competencias transversales de la bsqueda y seleccin de informacin desde el examen de la percepcin de los estudiantes universitarios de arte en la realizacin de una carpeta de aprendizaje adaptada a la titulacin y al perfil del estudiante. A partir de un enfoque cuantitativo, y mediante un estudio descriptivo transversal, se analizar la relacin existente entre el esfuerzo realizado, los resultados de aprendizaje declarados y la relacin entre ambas cuestiones -lo que a la postre define las dificultades- que manifiestan los estudiantes. [eng]This article aims to address the learning skills associated with the competence of searching and selecting information from the examination of the perceptions of art college students in the drawing up of a learning portfolio tailored to the degree and student profile. From a quantitative approach, and through a cross-sectional descriptive study, we will analyze the relationship between effort, stated learning outcomes and the relationship between these two issues what ultimately defines the difficulties which declare the students.

Els resultats mostren que les habilitats emprenedores ajuden a evitar i/o sortir de la sobre-educaci noms a Espanya, on el sistema educatiu s ms flexible i menys vinculat amb el mercat de treball. En general, els nostres resultats recolzen les poltiques que promocionen el desenvolupament dhabilitats emprenedores al sistema educatiu espanyol.

The aim of this study is to measure the psychometric properties of a Catalan translation of the Approaches and Study Skills Inventory for Students (ASSIST), and to analyse the different learning styles used by university students, considering the influence of gender and type of studies. The instrument was administered to 834 students at the University of Girona. The results showed that most students interviewed had a deep approach to learning, although the analysis by gender showed that females tended to use a more strategic approach, while males used a deep approach predominantly. As to whether the type of studies influenced learning styles, a prevalence of deep approach was found among Science and Technology students, while a more strategic approach was found among Humanities and Education students

The literature on educational mismatches finds that overeducated workers suffer a wage penalty compared with properly educated workers with the same level of education. Recent literature also suggests that individuals skill heterogeneity could explain wage differences between overeducated and properly matched workers. The hypothesis is that overeducated workers earn less due to their lower competences and skills in relative terms. However, that hypothesis has been rarely tested due to data limitations on individuals skills. The aim of this paper is to test the individuals skill heterogeneity theory in Spain using microdata from PIAAC, because it is one of the developed countries supporting the highest overeducation rates and where its adult population holds the lowest level of skills among a set of developed countries. Our hypothesis is that the wage penalty of overeducation in Spain is explained by the lower skill level of overeducated workers. The obtained evidence confirms this hypothesis but only to a certain extent as skills only explain partially the wage penalty of overeducation.

Introduccin: Los artculos cientficos constituyen una de las formas ms importantes de comunicacin entre los profesionales. En enfermera, los artculos cientficos persiguen varios objetivos, entre ellos, diseminar los avances realizados en los diferentes campos de la disciplina enfermera. El objetivo de este artculo es presentar una aproximacin a los avances, las tendencias y las innovaciones en enfermera mediante un anlisis breve de la produccin cientfica reciente. Mtodo: Estudio descriptivo y transversal. Inclusin de 161 artculos cientficos publicados en revistas de enfermera indexadas en Pubmed, mediante seleccin aleatoria simple. Recogida de datos estructurada en una matriz con 5 variables principales: indicadores geogrficos, variables indicadoras del tipo de estudio, indicadores de la poblacin estudiada, indicadores de los mbitos de inters disciplinar y fenmenos de inters disciplinar. Estrategia de anlisis descriptiva. Resultados: Los pases anglosajones son los principales productores de artculos enfermeros. Por tipo de estudio, los diseos epidemiolgicos-cuantitativos son los ms frecuentes; los ensayos cualitativos representan el 22,6%. Las poblaciones de estudio ms frecuentes son las personas enfermas y las propias enfermeras. Por mbitos de inters disciplinar destacan las publicaciones de cuidados de enfermera mdico-quirrgica. Conclusiones: El estudio de la produccin cientfica enfermera facilita la reflexin acerca de los fenmenos de estudio disciplinares y refleja la realidad del desarrollo de las ciencias enfermeras y de su aportacin social. Los resultados de este anlisis incluyen una orientacin diagnstica sobre qu investigan las enfermeras, en qu poblaciones lo hacen, desde qu mbito de la prctica y desde qu paradigma cientfico.

En els ltims anys, un gran nombre de docents i escoles han estat introduint programes AICLE a les escoles catalanes. A la majoria descoles, per, noms s'ensenya angls com a llengua estrangera, la qual cosa, limita les oportunitats d'estar en contacte amb la llengua estrangera en un context diferent. Lobjectiu d'aquest estudi s analitzar si els infants milloren en les seves habilitats lectores i comprovar si existeix un avantatge significatiu respecte els alumnes que noms estudien angls com a llengua estrangera. Lestudi empric que us presento a continuaci, compara els resultats obtinguts en dues proves de comprensi lectora. A les proves hi van participar dos grups dalumnes de cinqu de dEducaci Primria. Un dels grups seguia un programa AICLE (1 hora a la setmana i , a ms aprenia angls coma llengua estrangera); laltre grup noms estudiava angls com a llengua estrangera. L'objectiu principal d'aquest projecte d'investigaci s esbrinar si els programes AICLE tenen un impacte en les habilitats lectores en llengua anglesa dels alumnes. Aix doncs, humilment intentar contribuir a la literatura existent sobre els beneficis de lAICLE.
