El narrador de l'Euboic, després de naufragar en els esculls de l'illa d'Eubea, troba un home, un cacador per l'aspecte i la indumentaria, els cabells i les barbes del qual son descrits en comparació amb els dels Abants -els més antics habitants de l'illa-, segons el propi Homer...

“L’Emozione di conoscere e il desiderio di esistere”: Què és i com afecta la seva pràctica en el desenvolupament de l'autonomia de l'infant

El treball que es presenta a continuació pretén fer un aprofundiment en la metodologia pedagògica “Emozione di conoscere e desiderio di esistere”, nascuda a Itàlia i usada com a referent en l’Educació Especial, amb la intensió de poder valorar de quina manera afecta la seva pràctica en el desenvolupament de l’autonomia de l’infant. Per fer-ho, s’ha fet un recull dels estudis més rellevants relacionats amb el mètode “Emozione di conocscere” i amb el concepte d���autonomia. Seguidament, s’ha fet una observació acurada per poder descriure la posada en pràctica d���un projecte basat en aquesta metodologia i analitzar com aquest intervé en desenvolupar dita competència en els alumnes. Tot això, emmarcat dins l’escenari de la “Scuola Elementare Pirazzini”, situada al centre – nord d���Itàlia.

Lamellarin D bioconjugates I: synthesis and cellular internalization of PEG-derivatives

Herein is reported the design and synthesis of poly(ethylene glycol) derivatives of Lamellarin D with the aim of modulating their physicochemical properties, and improving the biological activity. Mono-, di- and tri-PEG conjugates with improved solubility were obtained in 18-57% overall yields from the corresponding partially protected phenolic derivatives of Lamellarin D. Conjugates 1-9 were tested in a panel of three human tumor cell lines (MDA-MB-231 breast, A-549 lung and HT-29 colon) to evaluate their cytotoxicity. Several compounds exhibited enhanced cellular internalization, and more than 85% of the derivatives showed a lower GI50 than Lam-D. Furthermore, cell cycle arrest at G2 phase, and apoptotic cell-death pathways were determined for Lamellarin D and these derivatives.

La retorica delle sarabandes : ricerca retorica nelle prime tre sarabandes delle Sechs Partiten für klavier di J. S. Bach

La presente tesi di ricerca si propone di studiare la danza della sarabanda come capolavoro di musica, retorica e poesia in tre delle Sechs Partiten für klavier di J. S. Bach (BWV 825-830). Lo studio svolto è fondamentalmente di tipo retorico: permette di individuare e interpretare la struttura oratorialepoetica del discorso letterario-musicale nelle tre danze scelte e di imarcarne i suoi aspetti più salienti di ritmica e ornatus. L’approccio permette di osservare, con uno sguardo di comparazione, la presenza di un percorso retorico comune alle tre sarabande, che evolve con gradualità, differenziandole nettamente: ciò riesce a valorizzare a pieno la danza nella sua forza ed efficacia espressiva, che la rende di fatto il movimento di massima commozione di ogni Partita.
