Ramon de Penyafort Malagarriga i Heras (Figueres 1904-Vinyols 1990)

Amb el traspàs del germà Malagarriga ha desaparegut un deis ultims testimonis directes d'aliò que era la Botànica catalana durant el primer terç del segle vinte, abans de la guerra, i, en particular, el darrer component del grup de botànics que es constituí sota el mestratge de frère Sennen.

Una aproximación a la evolución de la ciencia regional en España a través de las contribuciones a las Reuniones de Estudios Regionales (1973-2004)

This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of the contributions that have been presented to the 30 Spanish Regional Studies Meetings which have been hold since 1973. Firstly, the paper displays rankings of the authors and institutions that have participated more actively in the Meetings. Secondly, the paper analyses the main changes in the objectives, topics and research techniques of the contributions, as well as in the scientific specialisation of their authors. This analysis allows drawing some conclusions on the evolution of Regional Science in Spain throughout the last 30 years.

Eric R. Svensson Sventenius (1910-1973)

El 23 de juny de 1973 el veli amie Sventenius fou aixafat per un auto en sortir del Jardi Botànic de Las Palmas, on treballava. Sota la impressió de la seva inesperada mort em venen a la memòria una colla de records personáis que voldria deixar escrits.

Suzanne Davit (Paris 21-VII-1897 - Barcelona 3-XII-1973)

Suzanne Davit, nacida Ludonneau, ha sido durante muchos años un elemento importante y muy apreciado en los medios científicos y artísticos barceloneses. Trajo de París una valiosa preparación técnica, que le hizo gran servicio al quedar viuda y dedicarse con intensidad a la pintura.

Sticky income inequality in the Spanish transition (1973-1990)

This paper investigates the evolution of income inequality in Spain during its transition to democracy, suggesting a method for the correction of under-reporting of earnings and profits in the Household Budget Surveys’ data. The contribution is twofold: the methodological proposal, based on income expenditure discrepancy and scaling-up to National Accounts, improves on previous work, and can be convenient for similar historical sources in other countries. Secondly, its application results in an alternative history of the distribution of income in this case, changing the levels and also the observed trend. Previous literature asserted a substantial equalization, related to the democratization process, while after the adjustment inequality in disposable income is shown to have been quite persistent.

Joan Reglà, el historiador de la concordia

La justificació de la següent investigació és haver volgut realitzar una biografia intel·lectual de l’historiador català Joan Reglà i Campistol. S’ha exposat la trajectòria biogràfica de l’historiador junt amb les grans aportacions del seu pensament historiogràfic. Recuperar l’obra i el plantejaments de Joan Reglà, implica necessàriament afirmar una història del passat, una història que vulgui harmonitzar posicions irreconciliables i la necessitat de treballar per promoure un diàleg peninsular, obert i constructiu, que pugui contribuir a un millor coneixement i concòrdia entre tots els espanyols.
