Toda obra arquitectónica necesita de una proyección previa que implique la definición y justificación de sus formas y proporciones, proyección que, a menudo, viene modificada por la realidad ya existente o, en casos de periodos constructivos largos por cambios de opinión, de finalidad o, incluso de promotor. Es el caso del Concilium Provinciae Hispaniae Citerioris de Tarraco, un gran complejo monumental de más de 12 hectáreas de extensión, que necesitó un periodo de tiempo de construcción de entre 70 a 75 años. Los restos arqueológicos conservados permiten la identificación de dos proyectos arquitectónicos sobrepuestos que implican un profundo cambio de proyecto durante el proceso constructivo.

This article presents a panoramic view of the development of the so-called serliana or Serlian motif throughout the Italian Renaissance, focusing on the most relevant examples in the architecture of that period. The use of this motif during the Early Renaissance was pioneered by Filippo Brunelleschi in religious buildings. As its employment become widespread in a range of different settings, architects frequently incorporated local building traditions. It was only during the last twenty years of the Quattrocento that Giuliano da Sangallo and Leonardo da Vinci adopted the Serlian arch in residential architecture designed for the ruling elites. Thanks to Bramante and other artists such as Raphael, Baldassare Peruzzi, Antonio da Sangallo the Younger and Giulio Romano, the motif was extraordinarily popular during the High Renaissance period. Ever-increasingly complex and monumental compositions eased the adaptation of the serliana to both exterior and interior spaces, and in works such as the design by Galeazzo Alessi in Genoa, the imperial connotation of the motif is clear. This process illustrates the progressive transfer from the religious to the courtly sphere, and, at the same time, the permeability between the sacred and the profane. During the sixteenth century, Spain too was at the European avant-garde, due to its contacts with Italy and the latest fashions, such as the employment of the serliana in residential architecture, were followed in the fortified palace at La Calahorra, the Vich palace in Valencia, or the palace of Charles V in Granada, as part of a complex iconography of power. Throughout the sixteenth century, the serliana featured in that specifically-Spanish typology, the monumental altarpiece or retablo, as well as in monumental tombs. Italy was certainly the leading force in the process and had an indisputable influence on Spanish art, but the latter would develop its own original solutions in the sixteenth century, which matched the innovative character of Italian creations.

A principios de la década de los noventa, la Dirección de Enfermería de la Ciudad Sanitaria y Universitaria de Bellvitge (CSUB)decidió desarrollar un"programa informático de planes de cuidados" para dar respuesta a las nuevas demandas asistenciales y facilitar los procesos de gestión enfermera. A lo largo de estos años, paralelamente al desarrollo de las herramientas informáticas junto con varias empresas de software, las enfermeras de la CSUB han ido estandarizando los cuidados por grupos de pacientes. Pero el programa"Pla de cures", como la mayoría de software enfermero comercializado, tenía un problema fundamental para funcionar adecuadamente y poderse aplicar en la práctica: dependía en exceso de la introducción manual de datos. La teoría de la complejidad, del caos y los fractales, junto con el desarrollo teórico enfermero de la última mitad del siglo xx, fueron las bases que permitieron a la autora crear un sistema de valoración capaz de minimizar la alimentación del sistema y, a la vez, mantenerlo absolutamente actualizado, disponiendo de planes de cuidados"on-line". El principal objetivo de este artículo es presentar los elementos metodológicos, teóricos y conceptuales que sirvieron de base para la creación de este sistema de valoración clínica estandarizada, continuada y focalizada.

La tematología comparatista entre teoría y práctica. La novela de adulterio en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, publicada por Arco/Libros en 2001, es el resultado de la investigación que Cristina Naupert llevó a cabo para la obtención de su doctorado en literatura comparada; un trabajo que defendió con el mismo título en 1999 en la Universidad Complutense. Tanto sus artículos como sus libros posteriores han seguido este mismo ámbito de estudio en clara consonancia con su formación y sus investigaciones, que se han centrado en el ámbito de la tematología y la literatura comparada, tanto en su vertiente teórica como pragmática.

The ability to recognize mental states in oneself and others, or the theory of mind, has been a widely studied topic in last years. Traditionally, these studies have focused on the understanding of false belief, one of the most important milestones in its development. Studies conducted with children with language difficulties suggest that they have a delay in false belief acquisition. On the other hand, numerous studies have established a relationship between the understanding of false belief and language skills. In particular, it has been suggested that training based in labelling objects with double perspective facilitates the understanding of false belief. The aim of the present study is to test the effect of the structuration level of labelling training in a group of children with difficulties in language development. A total of 14 children, aged between 58 and 107 months, were trained in 3 sessions, and a pre-test and a post-test were administered to evaluate the effects of the training. The results confirm a delay in false belief understanding in children with developmental language difficulties, and suggest that the structured labelling training is effective to improve this understanding

In the past years a considerable amount of research has been carried out on the development of theory of mind (ToM) reporting that language and ToM performance are correlated. However it is less clear what aspect of language is related with ToM development. Some studies show a greater influence of semantics aspects, whereas others suggest that sentential complement sentences, a specific aspect of syntax, are crucial for false belief understanding (FB). Yet others argue that pragmatic abilities correlate with FB understanding. The aim of this study is investigate, on the one side, the development of ToM between the ages of 6 and 8 and on the other side, the relationship between some aspects of language and the ToM improvement. Several ToM tasks were administrated to evaluate children’s performance at two different ages (60 participants aged 6 and 8 years) and four tasks to assess language abilities. The results show a significant increase in the understanding of the mind between the ages of 6 and 8. Furthermore, results reveal a significant relationship between syntax and tasks that require FB understanding, while pragmatics is more strongly associated with tasks that involve more complex socio-cognitive understandings

This article highlights the contributions of the dialogic learning approach to educational theory, with the aim of providing some orientations in order to promote egalitarian and scientific educational practice. The seven principles of dialogic learning are discussed, along with other reproductionist theories and practices from the educational field, demonstrating how the former both surpass the latter. The article also reflects open dialogue with the critical theories of education which the dialogic learning theory is based on. These basic theories are, on the one hand, by authors who are distant in time but very close in their educational approach, such as Ferrer i Guàrdia, Vygotsky, or Paulo Freire, and, on the other hand, by other contemporary authors in critical pedagogy. Each of the seven principles presented are provided along with a critical examination of a specific educational practice. The consequences of the implementation of dialogic learning are underlined here through an analysis of innovative and critical educational projects which are academically successful

The Catalan reception of the 1966 manifestos by Robert Venturi and Aldo Rossi marks the scenario of a breakup: while North America debates about the architectural shape as a linguistic structure, Italy dips its roots in the Modern Movement tradition as an origin for a new temporal and ideological architectural dimension. The first contacts between Rossi and Spain verify this search and allow the Italian to construct common itineraries with some architects from Barcelona. From these exchanges the 2C group will be born, taking part on typical vanguardist mechanisms: they will publish the magazine, 2C. The construction of the city (1972-1985), they will attend the XV Triennale di Milano in 1973 with the Torres Clavé Plan (1971) and the Aldo Rossi + 21 Spanish architects exhibition (1975) while he will organize the three issues of the Seminarios Internacionales de Arquitectura Contemporánea (S.I.AC.) which took place in Santiago, Sevilla and Barcelona between 1976 and 1980. In front of the unfolding of the firsts, the American contacts of Federico Correa, Oriol Bohigas, Lluís Domènech and the PER studio or the teaching work of Rafael Moneo from Barcelona since 1971, allow to draw replica itineraries with the foundation of the magazine Arquitecturas Bis (1974-1985), the organization of the meetings between international publications such as Lotus and Oppositions in Cadaqués (1975) and New York (1977), while stablishing exchanges with members of the Five Architects. Replicas that in 1976 conduct the initial ideological affirmations between Rossi and the 2C group towards irreconcilable distancing. Verifying the itinerary of the journey that the Italian leads from the Italian resistance towards the American backing down is part of the aim of this article

Fame and truth in Spanish XVth century epic. !e political vergilianism and the castilian tradition of the XVth century. The starting premise of this essay is that the Spanish Golden Age epic must be read from a historical perspective that takes into account the Hispanic literary tradition ofthe XVth century. In particular, it argues that epic should be approached from a theoretical perspective that explores its relationship with history in order to illuminate the diferences between Italian and Spanish epic theory and practice in the XVth century. The relationship between the discourses of epic and history can be explained through the imitation of the Vergilian model, specifically the Aeneid´s ideological representation of empire. However, it is also necessary to consider theoretical aspects in the light of the diferent uses of classical literature by Italian humanists and Castilian writers of the XV th century. Thus, its primary thesis is that although XVI th century Spanish epic shares the general principles of the Western Epic tradition, it should be approached from a specifically perspective Hispanic, in the light of the «political vergilianism» already enshrined in authors like Enrique de Villena and Juan de Mena, which is essential to appreciate how epic genre serves as memory for the present

Desde sus inicios, la comunicación fue un espacio de investigación diver - so, complejo, atravesado por múltiples influencias (sociológicas, políticas, económicas y semióticas). En ese contexto, la teoría de los campos (apun- talada por Pierre Bourdieu) brindó las posibilidades de estructuración y de autonomía, como mecanismo de reducir esa diversidad. Sin embargo, en estos años la heteronomía del campo, ha conducido a la comunicación 804 La investigación en Comunicación ante una encrucijada: ... - Víctor Silva Echeto, Jordi de San Eugenio Vela (como en el caso del arte u otras disciplinas) a influenciarse por contextos globales, inter y transdisciplinarios e intermediales (o transmediales), por tanto, no son los medios su objeto de investigación en sí mismos, sino una diversidad gnoseológica. En el artículo, se pone en discusión estos aspec- tos teóricos, contrastándolos con un estudio comparado –inicial– sobre la investigación en comunicación en España, Brasil y Chile, tres de los países con un mayor desarrollo en los últimos años.

La comunicación pretende ser una aproximación holística a la Seguridad Marítima, enel sentido aristotélico del término: “el todo es mayor que la suma de sus partes». Elholismo es el tratamiento de un tema de tal forma que se consideren todos suscomponentes, incluyendo sus relaciones invisibles pero igualmente evidentes oexistentes. El elemento central del discurso es el tratamiento del riesgo: partiendo que elriesgo, en cualquier actividad humana nunca es 0, la seguridad se reduce a una opciónentre riesgos. Cuando hablamos de riesgo, debemos abordarlo desde una tripledimensión: el análisis del riesgo, la evaluación del riesgo y de manera principal lagestión del riesgo. La seguridad siempre es una opción de riesgo.

A pyrographically decorated gourd, dated to the French Revolution period, has been alleged to contain a handkerchief dipped into the blood of the French king Louis XVI (1754-1793) after his beheading but recent analyses of living males from two Bourbon branches cast doubts on its authenticity. We sequenced the complete genome of the DNA contained in the gourd at low coverage (similar to 2.5x) with coding sequences enriched at a higher similar to 7.3x coverage. We found that the ancestry of the gourd's genome does not seem compatible with Louis XVI's known ancestry. From a functional perspective, we did not find an excess of alleles contributing to height despite being described as the tallest person in Court. In addition, the eye colour prediction supported brown eyes, while Louis XVI had blue eyes. This is the first draft genome generated from a person who lived in a recent historical period; however, our results suggest that this sample may not correspond to the alleged king.

Al llarg del segle XVI es produí de manera lenta i heterogènia la progressiva introducció al Principat de les formes artístiques del Renaixement italià. Tradicionalment, a Catalunya, igual que a la resta del territori europeu, havia estat la noblesa, com a estament més proper al poder reial, la principal protagonista en el procés de comitència de les obres de més envergadura, moltes d"elles plantejades amb un sentit àulic que pretenia manifestar el predomini polític i econòmic de què havia gaudit d"antuvi aquest segment de la societat. Tanmateix, amb l"arribada a casa nostra dels nous corrents artístics renaixentistes es produí una certa inflexió en aquesta tendència, i hom pot observar com, a la fi del segle XVI i, sobretot, al llarg del segle XVII, aparegueren en l"escena del mercat artístic alts funcionaris reials, magistrats i juristes que, adherits al modern corrent de pensament humanista, dugueren a terme un important exercici de promoció i finançament d"empreses arquitectòniques, escultòriques i pictòriques seguidores dels preceptes renaixentistes. El present estudi analitza en quins termes es produí aquest relleu de patrocini artístic i repassa alguns casos ben emblemàtics.
