Local Tourist Systems (LTS) can be analyzed according to an investigation structure that derives from industrial economics on industrial districts, local productive systems or learning regions. LTS concept is a useful analytical tool that can seize the resorts diversity and organization. Resorts can be conceived both as clusters or industrial districts, either with a perfect agreement between productive sphere and local community or a mere industrial juxtaposition without any economic or social connection. On the other hand tourist clusters analysis has cross referred almost exclusively to socio-economic criteria. Environmental issues were almost disregarded. Approaches swing from the “greening” of products and practices to initiatives focused on an integrated approach, linking environment and tourist development. This paper tries to discuss how to favor – inside a tourist destination - the creation of clusters grounded on sustainable tourism. The case studies (the 5 Alentejo Natural Reserves: Estuário do Sado; Lagoas de Santo André e da Sancha; Vale do Guadiana; Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina; Serra de S. El estudio del sexismo en el contexto educativo tiene una enorme importancia debido a que sus consecuencias se traducen en una educación desigual que genera inequidad en las oportunidades de desarrollo personal y social tanto de chicas y chicos. Desafortunadamente, vemos que el contexto educativo actúa como un medio más que transmite y perpetúa la condición de desigualdad entre hombres y mujeres que existe en nuestra sociedad. Sin embargo, la responsabilidad de que el contexto educativo sea un espacio que garantice la igualdad entre mujeres y hombres es mucho mayor que cualquier otro dado que existe una obligatoriedad por parte del Estado en que todos los ciudadanos y ciudadanas permanezcan durante un largo período de la vida inscritos en el sistema educativo. Además, es un período de la vida altamente condicionante para el desarrollo de la personalidad del ser humano. Como base teórica para este estudio ha sido utilizado el modelo de análisis de Cultura de Género Doing Gender, elaborado por West & Zimmerman (1986). Este modelo incorpora diferentes planos que permiten analizar los elementos que dibujan la Cultura de Género y que hemos analizado en el contexto educativo. Estos planos -sociocultural, relacional y personal- consiguen aunar todos los elementos, actores, receptores, etc., que pueden proporcionar un abordaje de la realidad educativa desde la mirada de género en la actualidad.

Mannans (linear mannan, glucomannan, galactomannan and galactoglucomannan) are the major constituents of the hemicellulose fraction in softwoods and show great importance as a renewable resource for fuel or feedstock applications. As complex polysaccharides, mannans can only be degraded through a synergistic action of different mannan-degrading enzymes, mannanases. Microbial mannanases are mainly extracellular enzymes that can act in wide range of pH and temperature, contributing to pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, food and feed, oil and textile successful industrial applications. Knowing and controlling these microbial mannan-degrading enzymes are essential to take advantage of their great biotechnological potential. The genome of the laboratory 168 strain of Bacillus subtilis carries genes gmuA-G dedicated to the degradation and utilization of glucomannan, including an extracellular -mannanase. Recently, the genome sequence of an undomesticated strain of B. subtilis, BSP1, was determined. In BSP1, the gmuA-G operon is maintained, interestingly, however, a second cluster of genes was found (gam cluster), which comprise a second putative extracellular β-mannanase, and most likely specify a system for the degradation and utilization of a different mannan polymer, galactoglucomannan. The genetic organization and function of the gam cluster, and whether its presence in BSP1 strain results in new hemicellulolytic capabilities, compared to those of the laboratory strain, was address in this work. In silico and in vivo mRNA analyses performed in this study revealed that the gam cluster, comprising nine genes, is organized and expressed in at least six different transcriptional units. Furthermore, cloning, expression, and production of Bbsp2923 in Escherichia coli was achieved and preliminary characterization shows that the enzyme is indeed a β-mannanase. Finally, the high hemicellulolytic capacity of the undomesticated B. subtilis BSP1, demonstrated in this work by qualitative analyses, suggests potential to be used in the food and feed industries.
