Memory as discourse in Harold Pinter's old times, betrayal and a kind of Alaska

This paper aims at developing the topic of identity and the narration of the self through the other in Harold Pinter’s plays Old Times, Betrayal and A Kind of Alaska. In these plays Pinter deploys strategies to convey multiple implications which are based on the power of memory in which the structure of the plays is concocted.

O objetivo deste estudo é conhecer uma vertente específica do perfil informacional dos alunos que cresceram na era digital, ditos nativos digitais, na utilização que fazem da Internet. Assim, pretende-se aferir os critérios que aplicam na avaliação das fontes de informação disponíveis na web na vertente da credibilidade. A análise dos dados obtidos, resultantes da aplicação de 195 questionários a alunos do 8º ao 12º, é enquadrada e sustentada por revisão da literatura acerca do conceito de credibilidade da informação.

Descifrando la reestructuración técnica del profesional de la información con las argumentaciones de la economía global

This paper addresses the issue of restructuring the information professional in the global economy. This restructuring is justified by a tripartite explanation: the redesign understood as innovation and disciplinary change, the reorganization of institutions conditioned by the development of information technology and economic deflation interpreted as eliminating jobs. To understand this restructuring scenario multigenerational work contexts information services are also addressed. These work contexts represent a search for understanding and to overcome common referential differences, by baby boomer practitioners and digital natives. The issue of tension and challenge between the specific technical skills and flexibility to adapt to ever-changing organizations is another topic for reflection and serves to point out new paths for the restructuring of the information professional.
