Investigation on the development of bidding strategies for a wind farm owner

In this paper, the development of bidding strategies is investigated for a wind farm owner. The optimization model is characterized by making the analysis of scenarios. The proposed approach allows evaluating alternative production strategies in order to submit bids to the electricity market with the goal of maximizing profits. The problem is formulated as a linear programming problem. An application to a case study is presented

Neste texto, apresenta-se uma leitura de Uma Fábula, de António Franco Alexandre. Explora-se sobretudo a ideia de uma poesia que desenvolve o tema do amor, através da recuperação do topos clássico da metamorfose do sujeito apaixonado. Igualmente determinante nestes poemas é o desenvolvimento de uma consciência da identidade pessoal no estabelecimento de uma pluralidade de vozes dramáticas que confluem no sujeito.

Biological activities and oil properties of Origanum glandulosum Desf: a review

Origanum glandulosum Desf. (Species endemic of North Africa: Tunisia and Algeria) is important medicinally as it has antimicrobial, antifungal, antioxidant, antibacterial, antithrombin, antimutagenic, angiogenic, antiparasetic and antihyperglycaemic activities. Phytochemical investigations of the species of this genus have resulted in the extraction of a number of important bioactive compounds. This emphasizes on the need of extensive study for reporting the additional information on the medicinal importance, the biological activities and properties of oil of other unattended species of Origanum glandulosum. © 2015 Springer-Verlag France.
