Colangiopancreatografia por ressonância magnética com contraste oral negativo natural: chá preto

São conhecidos alguns ensaios acerca da administração de contrastes orais alternativos, de origem natural, nos estudos de Colangiopancreatografia por Ressonância Magnética (CPRM). Através da administração dum contraste oral negativo (chá preto), o objetivo deste estudo foi a otimização do protocolo de aquisição da CPRM com vista à melhor evidência das estruturas anatómicas em estudo, relativamente à supressão das imagens indesejadas de fundo causadas pelos fluídos do sistema gastrointestinal. Pretendeu-se também minimizar os artefactos causados pelos movimentos respiratórios ocorridos durante a aquisição das imagens.

In this paper, we identify all the pairs (A, B) of n x n nonsingular matrices over F, satisfying the following property: for every monic polynomial f (x) = x(n) + a(n-1)x(n-1) +... + a(1)x + a(0) over F, with a root in F and a(0) = (-1)(n) det(AB), there are nonsingular matrices X, Y is an element of F-nxn such that XAX(-1)Y BY-1 has characteristic polynomial f (x).

Study in real conditions and in laboratory of the application of expanded agglomerated cork as exterior wall covering

The interest of the study on the implementation of expanded agglomerated cork as exterior wall covering derives from two critical factors in a perspective of sustainable development: the use of a product consisting of a renewable natural material-cork-and the concern to contribute to greater sustainability in construction. The study aims to assess the feasibility of its use by analyzing the corresponding behaviour under different conditions. Since this application is relatively recent, only about ten years old, there is still much to learn about the reliability of its long-term properties. In this context, this study aims to deepen and approach aspects, some of them poorly studied and even unknown, that deal with characteristics that will make the agglomerate a good choice for exterior wall covering. The analysis of these and other characteristics is being performed by testing both under actual exposure conditions, on an experimental cell at LNEC, and on laboratory. In this paper the main laboratory tests are presented and the obtained results are compared with the outcome of the field study. © (2015) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
