Montage was one of the great innovations of avant-garde literature. As time went by, this technique lost some of its shock effect and became increasingly a method for structuring the text. After the avant-garde literature movement, collage started to be mentioned as a concept together with montage, many times as a complement, but the concepts are often blended into each other. In this article, there will be an attempt to delimit what is montage and what is collage through an exposition of some theories and the examination of the way they are applied in the work of a contemporary writer, the German Walter Kempowski.

The genus Gripopteryx is revised and two new species are described, G. japi n. sp. from southeastern Brazil, and G. clemira n. sp. from northeastern Brazil. The male of G. brasiliensis Samal, 1921 and the female of G. flinti Froehlich, 1993 are described. New figures for G. maculosa Jewett, 1960, for the male of G. reticulata Brauer, 1866, and for the female of G. brasiliensis are provided. Keys to adult males and to nymphs are provided.

Difficulties concerning the taxonomy of stauromedusae are long known, and there is a clear need for taxonomic revision of the genus Haliclystus, as well as the reevaluation of some species. Haliclystus antarcticus Pfeffer, 1889 is recorded from Admiralty Bay, King George Island, Antarctic Peninsula. Due to the lack of detailed information on this species, we provide a redescription, presenting new data on the cnidome, morphometry, geographical distribution and intraspecific variation. Based on these characters, we propose that our specimens and Haliclystus auricula from Chile and Argentina are synonymous and should be classified as H. antarcticus. We also review the worldwide distribution of the genus Haliclystus Clark, 1863 and discuss taxonomic issues, concluding that some characters traditionally used in the taxonomy of the group should be used cautiously.
