Weirdwolf

A public rehearsed reading for Tinderbox Theatre Company as part of the Pick n Mix drama festival. An allegory for mental illness this blackly comic play tells the story of a man becoming a werewolf.

Ambiguous Devices

Developed and performed in collaboration with Tom Davis (Bournemouth University), the work explores notions of presence and absence, technologically mediated communication and audience perception through the staging of ambiguous but repeatable performative interactions taking place on a co-located but distributed musical instrument. Public performances and installations include: CCRMA, Stanford University (2012); NIME conference, University of Michigan (2012); SARC, Queen's University Belfast (2013); INTIME symposium, Coventry University (2013); RE-NEW digital arts festival, Copenhagen (2013).

Commissioned for FIX11 International Performance Art Festival, Catalyst Arts, Belfast (with Caroline Pugh).

X/Y

A collaboration with the Sonic Arts Research Centre (QUB) and Tinderbox Theatre Company, this lab explores how writers can collaborate with experts in sonic design. The collaboration will result in an initial performance on March 12 2014 (entitled 'X/Y') at the Sonic Arts Research Centre that is open to the public. The audience's comments will then be fed back into the creative process for re-drafting and re-recording. A final performance is planned for the Belfast Festival.
