Se ha realizado la revisión de ejemplares de Plagiomnium T. Kop., en la Península Ibérica, registrados en los Herbarios de España, Portugal y Francia, así como en algunas colecciones privadas. Siete taxones de Plagiomnium están representados en España: P. affine, P. cuspidatum, P. elatum, P. ellipticum, P. medium subsp. medium, P. rostratum y P. undulatum, y en Portugal cuatro taxones: P. affine, P. medium subsp. mediurn, P. rostratum y P. undulatum. En Mallorca (Illes Balears), queda excluido P. cuspidatum y P. elatum es nuevo para estas islas. P. undulatum, P. affine y P. rostratum son las especies más comunes en los bosques y zonas montañosas de la Península; P. cuspidatum y P. elatum son frecuentes en la mitad septentrional de España, siendo muy escasos en la parte meridional; los más raros son: P. ellipticum y P. medium subsp. medium, que están restringidos a los hábitats mesofíticos, suelos oligotrofos y húmedos de Pirineos, Cordillera Cantábrica y el piso supra-oromediterráneo de los Montes de Cataluña, Sistema Ibérico septentrional (Macizo de La Demanda) y Sistema Central. Se aportan fotografías de las esporas al SEM de P. affine, P. medium subsp. medium, P. rostratum y P. undulatum así como los mapas de distribución de cada taxon.

Tras estudiar los pastizales de ambientes semitiridos de Almería, creemos que es conveniente designar una nueva asociación: Spergulo fallacis-Plantaginetum ovatae, que se presenta sobre suelos nitriticados y limosos de ombroclimna semiárido en el piso termomediterráneo.La comunidad se encuadra dentro de la alianza Stipion retortae Br.-BI. ex O. Bolós 1956 (Trachynietalia distachyae Rivas-Martínez 1978; Thero-Brachypodietea Br-BI. ex A. De Bolòs y Vayreda 1950) y se distingue de las demás por la presencia constante deSpergula fallax, taxon distribuido por zonas áridas desde el Norte de Africa hasta el centro de Asia, cuyas únicas poblaciones europeas se dan en la provincia de Almería.

En el presente trabajo se analiza el comportamiento biageográfico y fitosociológico del endemismo altocarrionés Draba lebrunii (P. Monts.) Laínz, y se concluye que caracteriza a las nuevas comunidades: Drabo lebrunii-Armerietum cantabricae (Elyno-Seslerietea) y Festuco hystricis-Thymetum mastigophorii drabetosum lebrunii (Ononido-Rosmarinetea), propias de los suelos calcáreos del Subsectar Altocarrionés (Sector Campurriano-Carrionés, Provincia Oracantábrica, Región Eurosiberiana), del piso subalpino la primera y del altimontano y subalpina la segunda.

Se da a conocer la presencia de Umbilicaria microphylla (Laur.) Massal. en el piso alpino del Pirineo catalán. Se comenta la corologia de esta especie en Europa, asi como algunos aspectos floristicos y fitosociológicos referentes a la nueva localidad. Se incluyen los resultados del análisis químico mediante HPLC de las muestras recolectadas.

The ways of incorporating newcoming students into schools and colleges have been at the center of debate in most OECD countries in recent years. In Spain, the set of measures developed for the reception of immigrant pupils in different Autonomous Communities has also been the subject of specific research, pointing out the similarities and contradictions between pedagogic discourses and school practices. This article takes into account these considerations and presents the reflections from the results of research on the Educational Welcome Facilities (and specifically the EBE) conducted during the school years 2008-2010. This device was created in Catalonia to attend newcomers before enrolling them in the school. It was a pilot project which took place in Vic and Reus for two consecutive years. The research of the EBE has enabled us to explain the relationship between educational assessment that schools made about this facility and reception processes that schools were implementing. The conclusions that emerge from this analysis allowed us to establish relationships between educational host practices of the seven centers analyzed with three different conceptual and educational frameworks of reception.

The introduction of new degrees in the Faculty of Education and the relevance of educational guidance comes to them, as a compulsory subject in all four grades started from 2009-2010, gives the opportunity to return and boost the University Guidance Service (UGS) as a means of consistency with the profile of their education and professional development of its students. The aim of the paper focuses on the evaluation of the results after the first year of implementing a peer mentoring project, SOU-estuTUtor Project, developed from UGS with all degree students of the Faculty of Education for Students new entrants. Program has been evaluated through the perception and satisfaction of the mentors on the organization, training, skills developed and adapted to the needs of students. After one academic year of implementation, the results show, on the one hand, the satisfaction and commitment of those involved and the partial response to the needs of the students served, as well as the optimization of the personal resources of the university but also some limitations that make it necessary to review the mentoring program in terms of control and duration of the process.
