Since remote times, certain sectors of society have been exposed to inequality and vulnerability, where adequate intervention processes have become conspicuous because of their absence. Nowadays, current societies have the responsibility of contributing, based on their experience and knowledge, with more efficient policies and programs that improve the life quality of the most disadvantaged. It is here where art and its different tools play a very important role, not only on a physical level, but also as an education tool that allows the development of emotional, mental and communicative skills. The aim of this paper is to make clear the potential of art as an instrument of social and educational intervention. It starts by showing worldwide-collected experience related to education and arts, and then, it acquaints the reader with two parallel intervention projects that worked with youths under social vulnerability conditions. These interventions were developed based on a qualitative research (Grounded theory), using as methodology The Artistic Mediation with emphasis on body language. This methodology helped researchers to get close to the participants and to know their experiences and emotions. At the same time, it was possible to evidence the positive effects of educative interventions through art. These workshops were based on an artistic methodology especially focused on body language. Data in this work is qualitative, and as such, it permits a special approach to the personal and emotional experiences of the participants; clearly showing the positive effects of the referenced practice on them.

La informacin es el elemento primordial en una Institucin, sea del carcter que sea. Fluye de cualquier departamento que la integra y esta informacin hay que recopilarla, ordenarla, sintetizarla, tratarla y por ltimo y ms relevante hay que distribuirla. No se puede retener ni ocultar, se debe canalizar para que todos los integrantes de esa empresa la conozcan, la entiendan, la asuman y la hagan suya. Es as como funcionan bien los organismos conociendo lo que trabajan, sus objetivos, sus lmites, sus avances y sus logros. Los gabinetes de comunicacin son el motor de la documentacin. Gestionan los contenidos, crean archivos de datos y documentos y difunden la informacin, no solo entre los diferentes componentes de la empresa sino tambin entre los distintos estamentos de la sociedad, proyectando al exterior la imagen de la Institucin para la que trabajan.

The Bolsa Famlia Program goal is to promote social development and poverty reduction, through the direct transfer of conditional cash, in association with other social programs. This study aims to analyze whether Bolsa Famlia had an association with childrens school attendance, which is one of the educational conditions of the program. Our main hypothesis is that children living in households receiving Bolsa Famlia had greater chances of attending school. Data from the Ministry of Social Development and Combating Famine indicated that children living in households with Bolsa Famlia had greater school enrolment levels. By using data from the 2010 Demographic Census, collected by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), some descriptive analyzes and binary logistic regression models were performed for different thresholds of household per capita income. These estimates were made by comparing children who lived in households receiving Bolsa Famlia to those children not receiving the program. We took into consideration characteristics about the household, mothers, and children. The results were clustered by the municipality of residence of the child. In all income thresholds, children benefi ting from Bolsa Famlia were more likely to be enrolled in school, compared to children not receiving the benefi t.
