La acumulaci��n de oficios (intendente-corregidor) tras la Real Cédula de 13 de noviembre de 1766. Un estudio de caso: el Ayuntamiento de Granada (1808-1814)

El presente trabajo tiene por objeto estudiar la aplicaci��n de la Real Cédula de 13 de noviembre de 1766, sobre separaci��n de corregimientos e intendencias, en el caso concreto del Ayuntamiento de Granada, durante un período de especial complejidad, el de la Guerra de la Independencia.

“The new Cagliostro”: Onofroff, Rubén Darío and his story "La esfinge"

The article retraces the career of the famous hypnotist Onofroff and particularly his visit to Buenos Aires, where his activity, in 1895, provoked many discussions and some public embarrassment. In this context Darío, using a pseudonym, published his crónica “La esfinge”. We reproduce “La esfinge”, transcribing the original text of La Naci��n, with annotations identifying the literary and theosophical sources Darío used when he wrote it.
