Współczesny odbiorca sztuki znajduje się w niespotykanej wcześniej sytuacji, a jego status trudno jednoznacznie określić. Z jednej strony,bywa lekceważony,staje się przedmiotem ataków i manipulacji,z drugiej zaś-podkreśla się jego podmiotowość. Wzajemne relacje elementów triady artysta-dzieło-odbiorca podlegają ciągłym i trudnym do przewidzenia zmianom. Wyrazem tego procesu może być to,że artyści,kuratorzy i krytycy będący aktywnie zaangażowani w kreowanie obrazu sztuki są,co często bywa pomijane,jednocześnie jej istotnymi odbiorcami.Czy w takiej rzeczywistości można mówić o wyłanianiu się nowego schematu, z którego odbiorca niezwiązany ze światem sztuki jest wykluczony? Monografia "Co z tym odbiorcą? Wokół zagadnienia odbioru sztuki" stanowi próbę interdyscyplinarnej refleksji nad postawionym w tytule pytaniem. The article presents an interpretation of the Soli Deo honor et gloria inscription from the fronton of the metropolitan cathedral of Christ the King in Katowice. The interpretation of the text depends on whether the word soli is taken as solely attributive or also as predicative. Given both the ancient and the contemporary historical and cultural contexts the former appears more plausible.

Wokół problemów doradztwa w szkole. Percepcja pomocowych funkcji szkoły w narracjach rodzicielskich

The text titled Around the problems of school counseling. The perception of school supporting functions in parental narratives raised the issue of psycho-pedagogical support (which are part of variousforms of counseling) taking place in public education. Social contexts of school functioning were referred to the three-step model of school counseling, where the components are: student problem identification, psycho-pedagogical intervention and support in consolidating and strengthening the student's ongoing changes (preparing for independence). Practical dimension of this model is trying to introduce new formal regulations of the psycho-pedagogical aid at school, which define the potential aid recipients (students with special educational needs, parents, teachers), its organizational formsand general principles. In the context of these provisions the qualitative analysis of school supporting functions is shown in the point of view of parents (the research illustration with the use of narrative interview technique), which identified a series of controversies and dilemmas in realization of broader institutional psycho-pedagogical aid.

Książka jest interesująca – sam projekt stworzenia antropologii cyborgów należy uznać za zadanie bardzo ambitne, które, mam nadzieję, znajdzie kontynuację czy to w kolejnych pracach autorki, czy innych badaczy, dla których to zagadnienie okaże się dostatecznie interesujące. Należy też docenić całe spektrum poruszanych w niej analiz, które stanowią reprezentatywną próbę, ekstrakt cyborga i jego wizerunku w kulturze audiowizualnej, a także podkreślić charakter kulturoznawczych i literaturoznawczych analiz, które dookreślają projekt antropologii cyborgów. Paradoksalnie – antropologia cyborgów może okrzepnąć do postaci antropologii, skoro i tak wszyscy byliśmy, stajemy się czy też w niedalekiej przyszłości będziemy cyborgami.

One of the crucial stages of the Apostle Paul’s ministry was his stay at Ephesus. However, considering the fact that the reliability of some data in the Acts of the Apostles on the time of Paul’s arrival to Ephesus is nowadays frequently put into question, it has become necessary to investigate the issue. In the present article the author assesses the relevant source material and takes a stand on the particular opinions of contemporary interpreters of the subject. Based on an analysis of the text of the Acts of the Apostles he is led to conclude that Luke’s account of Paul’s first short visit to Ephesus reveals traits of historicity.
