Homophobic discourse in blogs: Weaving of violence and network

This article aims at analyzing the effects of meaning installed in the discursive space of a blog, especially a formulation of discriminatory nature which was posted in November, 2011 and considerably discussed in other discursive spaces on the Internet. By means of French Discourse Analysis, we sought to track the memory networks and the ideological effects that are at play in the discourse on homosexuals posted by browsers-subjects and how they update the meanings already there in order to install effects of prejudice and hatred. Our interest is also to catch the meanings of violence inscribed in the electronic network and analyze the functioning of the language in motion in this space bordered by the imaginary in which it is possible to say anything. Hence, by means of the analyses performed in this study, we observed these effects of the subject's full freedom when he/she subscribes to the electronic network without fear of any punishment of any order. The discourses of intolerance and hatred posted on the blog by the subject give voice to a discursive confrontation observed by marks of agreement or indignation, supported by the discursive memory. Thus, we observed the interruption of regularities that break up with a supposed linearity in the discourse, putting the contradiction and the heterogeneous nature of the sayings on the net in motion.

Relação entre violência física, consumo de álcool e outras drogas e bullying entre adolescentes escolares brasileiros

O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar a associação entre o consumo de álcool e outras drogas e o bullying com o envolvimento em situações de violência física entre adolescentes de 13 a 15 anos, em escolas públicas e privadas das capitais brasileiras e do Distrito Federal. Foram analisados os dados da Pesquisa Nacional de Saúde do Escolar (PeNSE) de 2009. Para análise dos dados foi utilizada a regressão logística. A prevalência de envolvimento em situações de violência física foi 12,9% maior no sexo masculino. Em ambos os sexos, foram observadas associações entre violência física e ser vítima de bullying com o uso de drogas ilícitas e efeito potencializado do consumo de álcool e drogas. Para o sexo masculino, o uso de álcool mostrou associação significante com violência física. Morar o pai ou ambos os genitores na residência apresentou associação inversa para violência física no sexo feminino. O conhecimento de fatores associados à violência física entre adolescentes é importante para auxiliar estratégias de promoção da saúde e da cultura de paz, rompendo com a ideia de que a violência entre adolescentes é algo banal e esperado.

Intervenções em assédio moral no trabalho: uma revisão da literatura

JUSTIFICATIVA: Embora a problemática do assédio moral no trabalho venha sendo estudada há mais de três décadas, aspectos de gerenciamento e prevenção ainda necessitam de maior estudo e sistematização. OBJETIVO: Identificar e sistematizar os métodos de intervenção em assédio moral. MÉTODO: Pesquisa bibliográfica sobre o tema em bases de dados (Medline, Psychinfo, SciELO e Lilacs), livros, teses e sites especializados (1980 a 2010). RESULTADOS E DISCUSSÃO: O conceito de assédio moral no trabalho é inicialmente delimitado, explicitando os elementos caracterizadores básicos. As intervenções são organizadas em níveis de prevenção (primária, secundária e terciária) e alvos das ações: indivíduos diretamente envolvidos, testemunhas, grupo de trabalho e organização. Os aspectos que levam ao sucesso das intervenções e às boas práticas são elencados. CONCLUSÃO: Dada a natureza complexa do assédio moral no trabalho, intervenções isoladas e pontuais não funcionam. A abordagem precisa ser abrangente e o acompanhamento das ações, sistemático. Cada caso é singular e o desenho da intervenção deve considerar o contexto organizacional e envolver os vários atores sociais.
