The laws of Harvard College, 1767

Leather hardcover volume containing a draft of the 1767 College Laws with portions crossed out and edited. The volume appears to be a working copy and includes page references in the front of the volume and additional notes inserted between pages.

Annotated almanac, 1764

Almanac with one laid-in leaf, and calendar pages with minimal, sporadic annotations. The laid-in leaf contains three entries by John Winthrop noting the firing of the house chimneys, and entries by both Winthrops listing deaths in the community and a bill of mortality. The bill of morality includes the note "In Boston Baptzd 367 a small nr by reesn of y small px."

One-page inventory of the silver, including the weight of each object, donor, and dates; one passage is crossed out, and written diagonal to the inventory are the words "Fort London Farmer London." Docketed on the verso with an address to the Right Honorable Samuel Bishop of York.

Wightman, surveyor ; E.R. Brown, de. It was printed by A. Meisel, lith., Dec. 31st, 1861. Covers Back Bay and South End, Boston, Massachusetts, and portions of Roxbury and Brookline. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the Massachusetts State Plane Coordinate System, Mainland Zone (in Feet) (Fipszone 2001). All map collar and inset information is also available as part of the raster image, including any inset maps, profiles, statistical tables, directories, text, illustrations, or other information associated with the principal map. This map shows features such as roads, railroads, drainage, property owners, selected public buildings, parks, radial distances from City Hall, and more.
