This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic paper map entitled: Carte du détroit de Gibraltar, dressee au depost de cartes et plans de la marine pour le service des vaisseaux du roy par ordre de M. le Duc de Choiseuil, Ministre de la Guerre et de la Marine; par le S. Bellin Ingeniuer de la Marine et du Depost des Plans, Censeur Royal, de l'Academie de Marine, et de la Societé Royale de Londres. It was published by Minstre de la guerre et de la marine in 1761. Scale [ca 1:2,000]. Covers the Strait of Gibraltar region, including coasts of Gibraltar, Morocco, and Spain. Map in French.The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the European Datum 1950, Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) Zone 30N projected coordinate system.
