This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic paper map entitled: A new chart of the Cape Verde islands : drawn from the latest authorities by J.W. Norie, hydrographer. It was published by J.W. Norie and Co. in 1824. Scale [ca. 1:810,000]. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the World Mercator projected coordinate system.
