This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic paper map entitled: Carte réduite de la mer Méditerranée et de la mer Noire : dédiée et présentée a S.A.R. M. le duc d'Angoulême..., par P. Lapie, géographe, Directeur du Cabinet topographique du Roi ; gravé par P.A.F. Tardieu. It was published by Rey et Gravier, libraires Quai des Augustins, no. 55 in 1814. Scale [ca. 1:35,500]. Covers Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, and coasts of Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Map in French. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the World Miller Cylindrical projected coordinate system. All map collar and inset information is also available as part of the raster image, including any inset maps, profiles, statistical tables, directories, text, illustrations, index maps, legends, or other information associated with the principal map.
