This work aims to understand in what way the relation between reading and writing works in the writing tests of two major entrance exams from the state of São Paulo, used as a form of admission to two great universities - UNICAMP and UNESP -, as well as analyze in what way the candidates who got grades above the average dialogue with the collection of texts which is offered in the writing test proposal. In order to found these questions on theoretical material, we have done some reading of the Bakhtin circle to understand the questions that are related to the dialogism and had support in other linguists to solidify our interpretations and analyses. We understood, after the studies and analyses, that the materialization of the relation between reading and writing is present in the majority of the texts used as the corpus of our work and that the dialogue with the collection of texts is very appreciated and present in the texts that got the highest grades or were considered above the average. The writing test has always had an unique importance in the selection processes to admission to undergraduate courses, and we believe that the analyses that were proposed here can help students and teachers to better understand the valuation which is attributed to the relation between reading and writing and the use of the collection of texts in the elaboration of a text in the entrance exams

The relationship between humans and non-human animals dates back to the Prehistoric Era, when groups of humans migrated from the nomadic and extractive stage to sedentariness, starting to develop agriculture and animal husbandry. Ancient Greek philosophy, notably the Aristotelian school of philosophy, posited that nature has not done anything for nothing, and all things have a purpose: plants were created for the sake of animals, and these for the good of men, while the Bible preaches the view that the world was created for the good of men and other species were subordinated to their wants and needs. During the Renaissance, centuries XIV to XVI, anthropocentrism was established as the main philosophical concept. However, in relation to the treatment of animals, Renaissance did not differ substantially from medieval scholasticism, considering animals like machines, devoid of pain and immortal soul. In this context, scientific knowledge about plants, non-human animals and nature in general, is built on anthropocentric values, thus influencing the construction of school education in the disciplines of Science and Biology. Nowadays, at São Paulo state schools, specifically in the Ensino Fundamental II (6th to 9th grade), the program of the discipline Ciências da Natureza e suas Tecnologias is set by the Currículo Oficial do Estado de São Paulo, via the São Paulo Faz Escola Program, implemented by the Secretaria Estadual de Educação in 2010. This documentary research used the methodology of Content Analysis and aimed to analyze the presentation of non-human animals in Caderno do Professor and Caderno do Aluno, from 6th to 9th grades of the discipline Ciências da Natureza e suas Tecnologias. The analysis of the courseware revealed that its contents were influenced by the anthropocentric view, in both implicitly and explicitly ways, conveying anthropomorphic, utilitarian, stereotyped and derogatory statements towards...

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of adding calcium ions and fluoride in the formulation of a whitening gel 35% hydrogen peroxide in its penetration through the dental structure, whitening efficacy and surface hardness of dental enamel. 80 teeth bovine incisors were used, which were obtained enamel and dentin disks of the buccal surface with 6mm diameter and 2mm thick (1 mm of enamel and dentin 1mm). The samples were divided into four groups stratified according to the protective substance / remineralizing added to the gel of hydrogen peroxide 35%: Group Ca - Calcium gluconate 0.5%; Group F - Sodium fluoride 0.2%; Group Ca + F - Calcium gluconate 0.5% and Sodium Fluoride 0.2%; Control group - no substance was added. The initial color of the samples and the hardness of the enamel were measured before the bleaching procedures. The specimens from each group were placed on a metallic support on which there was a simulated pulp chamber, which was filled with acetate buffer to collect and stabilize the penetrated peroxide. The respective bleaching treatments were applied 3 times, total of 30 minutes of application. The amount of peroxide which passed through the samples was determined by absorbance spectrophotometry. The hardness of the samples was measured immediately after bleaching. Next, the samples were immersed in artificial saliva for 7 days, after which the final color was evaluated. This thesis presents a way to plan and deploy the strategy of a small retailing company with use of lean six sigma technics. In small companies there are mostly no future strategic planning based on the external market and customer needs. Aiming for effective strategies, it is necessary to deal with significant information and transparency of plans and targets. With lean six sigma method it can be achieved and this Thesis has the purpose of analysis of the method application in the creation of a strategy for a small company in the city of Franca, state of São Paulo. The outcomes are a financial and market analysis, a structured strategic planning, an employees function outline, the creation of plans, indicators and targets, and the employees and owners' opinion regarding the new way of working
