The current socio-economic situation has brought a need to look for alternative ways to get energy that allow reducing the high dependence on fossil fuel sources while deflect from the climate change arising from the result of the use of these energy resources. Renewable sources of energy, low and medium temperature appear as high potential of energy resources, which have a major influence on the way of life of the people to enable decentralized energy production. In Brazil, in particular, have also the need to decentralize the energy grid, currently focused on energy from water source. The current water crisis, exemplifies the urgency of betting on other energy sources, as a way to help in emergency situations such as the current one. Therefore, this study evaluates the possibility of using biomass as a heat source in a Rankine Cycle Organic where instead of water; it uses thermal fluid as working fluid, was compared the urban areas of the city of Guaratinguetá with the urban area of the metropolitan region of São Paulo. Thus, it was established two scenarios, so it was possible to establish the cycle to be used

The housing issue in Brazil is'nt a recent problem and has been discussed, worked and questioned in the institutional framework, especially with regard to the critical considerations on the topic and urban problems involved. We as milestones in the Brazilian housing policy the National Housing Bank - BNH, 1964, the height of the military regime in Brazil, and the Minha Casa, Minha Vida, in 2009. Both have questions that approach and distance themselves regarding changes in the Brazilian housing policy, where we have the emergence of new forms of knowledge production and housing consumption. Thus we have a number of advances in ways of acquiring social housing, even at different times, it is characterized as capitalist forms of this issue. Thus the spatial process of housing developments arising from these programs reflect the change in space - time that they lay down, turning the urban space of the cities in this case the city of Presidente Prudente / SP

Dinâmica da paisagem: um modelo aplicado ao município de Carapicuíba

A qualidade de vida para o ser humano depende do resultado das relações entre os processos biológicos, ecológicos, culturais e socioeconômicos que acontecem no espaço. Assim, a preocupação com a influência de zonas urbanas sobre o meio ambiente e a população tem sido um tema de crescente importância no Brasil, associando o desenvolvimento de novas políticas de gestão e reestruturação de grandes cidades. Nessa discussão, incluiu-se a questão da transformação da paisagem em ambientes urbanos, com impacto na manutenção dos serviços ecossistêmicos e na qualidade de vida da população humana. Este estudo propôs a caracterização da evolução da cobertura e uso do solo para a cidade de Carapicuíba, na Grande São Paulo, através da elaboração de seis mapas temáticos de uso e ocupação do solo do município, entre o período de 1962 e 2013. Além disso o projeto também pretendia fazer a modelagem de cenários futuros de mudanças, através de uma abordagem baseada no uso integrado de sensoriamento remoto, sistema de informações geográficas e modelos espaciais dinâmicos. Os mapas temáticos foram elaborados através de três mosaicos de fotografias aéreas adquiridas em 1962, 1972 e 1994, uma imagem orbital do sensor Ikonos de 2002, um mosaico de ortofotos aéreas adquirido em 2008, e uma imagem do sistema orbital RapidEye adquirida em 2013, para avaliação da dinâmica de ocupação da superfície da terra. As datas de imageamento disponíveis conseguiram representar momentos diferentes na história do município, referentes a acontecimentos importantes e que influenciaram significativamente na alteração da paisagem urbana: o grande crescimento demográfico e a construção das vias de acesso a Carapicuíba. Formação continuada de professores como um projeto coletivo e de identidade profissional

This research is part of the field of teacher training, especially developed the topic of continuing education. There is, according to the literature, the importance of this training for teachers as a sort of continuum, trajectory in which the teacher will (re) building their knowledge throughout their lives, in order to provide knowledge and values that add to your practice teaching. However, often the training activities are designed for knowledge transmitter model forming agent for the teacher, disregarding the different contexts of school communities, this strategy which hardly reaches the real needs of teachers in their daily lives. It is evident, too, the need to provide, in training moments, spaces to engage in dialogue and reflect on the teachers profession today, (re) building thus their teacher identity. In this context, the objective of this research is to examine whether the continued formation is configured as a collective construction and as a space for reflection on what it means to be a teacher. The research is characterized by a qualitative approach, and to collect data, we used the semi-structured interview technique. Participants were five teachers in the areas of Physical Education, History, English, Portuguese and Mathematics, a state school Treble city education (SP). The results show the importance of continuing education for teachers, which provides reflections, discussions, acquisition of knowledge and skills that contribute to its performance, motivating and developing strategies to enable them to face the challenges of everyday life and reflect collectively on what it means to be a teacher. It was concluded that continuing education for this group of teachers is configured as a space for collective construction, which together with other teachers rethink, reflect and continuously reconstruct their practices and objectives, and enables reflection on the teaching profession constantly.
