The current socio-economic situation has brought a need to look for alternative ways to get energy that allow reducing the high dependence on fossil fuel sources while deflect from the climate change arising from the result of the use of these energy resources. Renewable sources of energy, low and medium temperature appear as high potential of energy resources, which have a major influence on the way of life of the people to enable decentralized energy production. In Brazil, in particular, have also the need to decentralize the energy grid, currently focused on energy from water source. The current water crisis, exemplifies the urgency of betting on other energy sources, as a way to help in emergency situations such as the current one. Therefore, this study evaluates the possibility of using biomass as a heat source in a Rankine Cycle Organic where instead of water; it uses thermal fluid as working fluid, was compared the urban areas of the city of Guaratinguetá with the urban area of the metropolitan region of São Paulo. Encontramo-nos inseridos em uma crise que afeta diversas dimensões da vida do planeta e imersos em uma sociedade pautada no 'progresso' civilizatório desenfreado que se utiliza da dominação como instrumento central. A percepção hegemônica atual se pauta no universo como um universo mecânico, no meio natural a puro serviço humano e na mulher inferiorizada, padronizada e subordinada ao homem. Este trabalho parte da necessidade de assinalar os mecanismos que dominam, excluem, padronizam e normatizam a maternidade como os mesmos que dominam a natureza e traçam a crise ecológica. Tendo como referencial teórico, o Ecofeminismo relaciona e interconecta os padrões de dominação da natureza como os mesmos que propagam a subordinação da mulher dentro de sistemas patriarcais. Utilizando como método a revisão bibliográfica não-sistematizada, a pesquisa traça paralelos entre movimentos feministas e ecológicos mostrando a maternidade como um foco a ser olhado cuidadosamente para termos uma quebra nos padrões atuais de desenvolvimento. Para melhor organização, registro do conteúdo e acesso às obras consultadas foram feitos fichamentos das mesmas com corpo contendo resumo, citações, transcrições e reflexões

Levando em conta o modelo de desenvolvimento vigente, consideramos o momento atual, de crise ambiental, como fruto do estabelecimento de uma postura antropocêntrica frente à natureza. Assim, a EA vem sendo apontada como uma das possibilidades de mudança deste cenário. A EA que propomos se apoia em três dimensões, estabelecidas por Carvalho (1989), com especial enfoque na dimensão valorativa. Dentre os recursos potencialmente relevantes para o desenvolvimento da EA, destacamos o cinema ficcional e documentário. Possuidor de uma linguagem própria, o cinema pode e deve ser utilizado, visto que sua presença na sociedade atual é intensa. Dentre as inúmeras qualidades que este recurso possui, consideramos que ele apresenta imenso poder de atrair a atenção dos alunos, uma vez que possui por si só técnicas únicas para tal finalidade. O uso do cinema em sala de aula, entretanto, exige alguns cuidados e preparativos por parte de quem se propõe a utilizá-lo com este fim, ou corre-se o risco de recair em um uso corriqueiro, a fins de entretenimento, e portanto sem qualquer finalidade educativa. As perguntas que permeiam o presente trabalho são: este assunto tem sido abordado em teses e dissertações voltadas a pesquisas envolvendo a EA? Se sim, quais fundamentações teóricas abarcam, e o que está sendo levando em consideração para sua execução? Que aspectos significativos têm sido apontados sobre esses recursos, que podem subsidiar os trabalhos de EA? Para a coleta das teses de interesse, recorreremos ao banco de dissertações e teses de educação ambiental desenvolvido pelo projeto de pesquisa interinstitucional denominado Educação ambiental no Brasil: análise da produção acadêmica (teses e dissertações) - EArte. Verificamos que, apesar de muitos trabalhos apontarem o uso de filmes em suas pesquisas, este uso ainda é feito de maneira superficial e é tido apenas como mais um recurso de apoio. Existe uma...

This study aimed to model a equation for the demand of automobiles and light commercial vehicles, based on the data from February 2007 to July 2014, through a multiple regression analysis. The literature review consists of an information collection of the history of automotive industry, and it has contributed to the understanding of the current crisis that affects this market, which consequence was a large reduction in sales. The model developed was evaluated by a residual analysis and also was used an adhesion test - F test - with a significance level of 5%. In addition, a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.8159 was determined, indicating that 81.59% of the demand for automobiles and light commercial vehicles can be explained by the regression variables: interest rate, unemployment rate, broad consumer price index (CPI), gross domestic product (GDP) and tax on industrialized products (IPI). Finally, other ten samples, from August 2014 to May 2015, were tested in the model in order to validate its forecasting quality. Finally, a Monte Carlo Simulation was run in order to obtain a distribution of probabilities of future demands. It was observed that the actual demand in the period after the sample was in the range that was most likely to occur, and that the GDP and the CPI are the variable that have the greatest influence on the developed model

Currently there are two car models that use electricity in their propulsion systems, the electric vehicle and the hybrid electric vehicle. The electric vehicles are classified as vehicles that use electric motors in their propulsion system and batteries as a power source, on the other hand, the hybrid vehicles are classified as vehicles that use both electric motors and internal combustion engines in their propulsion system, using both batteries and líquid fuels as a power source. The main goal of this work is to analyze the characteristics of electric and hybrid electric vehicles and demonstrate the unfeasibility of the electric vehicle in the current economic, political, energetic and environmental brazilian scenario, for this purpose it was realized a study about the current brazilian situation regarding to electricity generation, current conservation status of road network, lack of electrical infrastructure for charging batteries, national lithium reserves, environmental characteristics, tax incentives, economic scenario, oil market and political positioning related to the implantation of electric or hybrid electric fleets in nacional territory. The operational characteristics analysis of electric and hybrid electric vehicles in this current scenario leads to the conclusion that currently a growth of electric vehicles fleets on a national scale is totally impractical in the Brazil, Thus, the introduction of green vehicles probably will occur primarily with hybrid electric models, motivated mainly due the bigger autonomy of this models compared to electric models, lower cost of hybrid electric models compared to electric models, factors related to the lack of recharging infrastructure and also factors related to political positioning

Given the current energy crisis experienced in our country with the lack of rain in some areas, the energy distributors were forced to resort to thermal power plants to complement their energy production; raising the cost of electricity generation, they have been forced to repass this value to the customers through the Tariff Flags. Concerned about a substantial increase in their electric bill, some consumers were forced to look for alternatives so that their results are not affected. The use of diesel generation at peak hours is a relatively simple and inexpensive alternative that has been widely used for several industrial, commercial and service customers. In this present work, we conducted a feasibility study of the use of diesel generators at peak hours in a medium-sized hospital, calculating the depreciation period for the investment through savings in electricity bills
