This dissertation has its main goal on signing the modern Comic Books` narrative development aspects. It goes from its relationship with performing arts, specifically with the Yiddish (Jewish theatre). The research was done from the Will Eisners work analysis. He is a cartoonist and has a wide and influent in his area. Moreover he clearly reflects the similarities between Comic Books and Theatre. In this study was adopted the qualitative methodology on historic-comparative procedure through bibliography. The study indicates that, although their media and distinct principles, the Comic Books and Yiddish Theatre have close influence relationship considering their narrative solutions

The city is the privileged place construction of social and political life, and the gathering of social groups. Meeting place, the diversity and possibilities. But the urban universe which cities belong is not a homogeneous whole. There are spaces demarcated and valued ideologically creating antithetical images about places that are now recognized as violent or dangerous. Peripheral urban situations of unprivileged add to theprejudices to the origin of place within the neighborlyallotments Jos Sarney and Novo Horizonte (Japan Slum) / Natal-RN, which are reproduced in narratives of everyday life. Spatial divisions are exploited, mixed and repeated to maintain social distances through rites of separations and dichotomies such as neighborhood/joint housing, allotment/slum and the people of the high place/the people of the down place. Social categories such as buraco(hole) and cabras (goats) are evoked to interpret the world of violence and places regarded as dangerous. The prominence of hypermasculinity and perception of children and adolescents living on the outer elements are brought up to the interpretation of images evoked in interviews with residents and their neighbors

Tendo como base os conceitos de espao, lugar, ambiente e imagem, sob as vertentes da Arquitetura e Urbanismo, Geografia e Psicologia Ambiental, esta pesquisa teve como objetivo averiguar a percepo de estudantes da Escola Agrcola de Jundia (EAJ UFRN) a fim de identificar aspectos das interrelaes pessoa-ambiente que diferenciam tal escola de outras instituies. A coleta de dados utilizou multimtodos e investigou um grupo de alunos residentes na Escola que cursavam o ensino mdio e tcnico em agropecuria em 2006, analisando seus discursos, comportamentos e atitudes de modo a identificar os principais elementos da imagem scio-ambiental da EAJ. Os resultados apontaram locais, prticas sociais e smbolos representativos da instituio, indicando espaos (construdos e naturais) adequados/inadequados s necessidades/expectativas dos estudantes incluindo a ampliao da interdisciplinaridade no conjunto de suas atividades. Alm disso, a fim de incrementar a anlise scio-ambiental em instituies que promovem experincias exitosas, recomenda-se que os aspectos cotidiano e tempo sejam mais profundamente investigados em estudos futuros na rea
