/ABSTRACT:The present work in which we develop a theme "The Idea in Drawing, Different Drawings in Visual Art Education"; was prepared to achieve de Master Degree on Teaching of the Visual Arts in the 3rd Cycle of Basic and Secondary Education, and it is focused in the teaching supervised practice developed at the Escola Secundária Gabriel Pereira and Escola Básica André de Resende Schools, during the academic year of 2011/2012. The report includes scientific, educational and didactical preparation; characterization of the municipality of Évora; school planning, conducted lessons and learning evaluation; and concludes with teaching analysis and professional development. It also includes two final appendices with quoted information and significant evidence of the schooling activities. ABSTRACT: This Report was prepared to achieve de Master Degree on Teaching of the Visual Arts in the 3rd Cycle of Basic and Secondary Education, and it is focused in the teaching practice developed in BS 2,3/S Cunha Rivara and Secondary Rainha Santa Isabel Schools, during the academic year 2011/2012. The report includes a deepened theme “Human relations as a support for a creative environment” and five chapters: Scientific, Educational and Teaching Preparation; Planning, Conducted Lessons and Learning Evaluation; Teaching Analysis; Participation in School Activities and Professional Development. It also includes ten final appendices with quoted information and significant evidence of the schooling activities.

This paper aims to look at the teaching situation of the nursing undergraduate degree’s courses about eldercare in Portugal. A documentary research on the teaching programs in 39 nursing schools, 26 schools presented syllabus units related to the topic ‘eldercare’ and in eight of these schools the contents of the units were identified. Using textual analysis and from the categories we concluded that the teaching regarding eldercare for the nurse training in Portugal is focused on hospital care; it is directed to the adult/elderly/family; it explores the definitions related to the aging process; it explores community issues, legislation and research. People responsible for the design/monitoring of teaching programs should include teaching regarding eldercare in the nurse training, considering that the elder population is increasing in Portugal.

Sexuality is recognized as part of holistic nursing care, but its inclusion in clinical practice and nursing training is inconsistent. Based on the question "How students and teachers acknowledge sexuality in teaching and learning?", we developed a study in order to characterize the process of teaching and learning sexuality in a micro perspective of cur- riculum development. We used a mixed methods design with a sequential strategy: QUAN → qual of descriptive and explanatory type. 646 students and teachers participated. The quantitative component used ques- tionnaire surveys. Document analysis was used in the additional component. A curricular dimension of sexuality emerges guided by a behaviourist line and based on a biological vision. The issues considered safe are highlighted and framed in steps of adolescence and adulthood and more attached to female sexuality and the procreative aspect. There is in emergence a hidden curriculum by reference to content from other dimensions of sexuality but less often expressed. Theoretical learning follows a communicational model of reality through ab- straction strategies, which infers a deductive method of learning, with a behaviourist approach to assessment. Clinical teaching ad- dresses sexuality in combination with reproductive health nursing. The influencing factors of teaching and learning of sexuality were also explored. We conclude that the vision of female sexuality taught and learned in relation to women has a projection of care in clinical practice based on the same principles.

Recent technological development has enabled research- ers to gather data from different performance scenarios while considering players positioning and action events within a specific time frame. This technology varies from global positioning systems to radio frequency devices and computer vision tracking, to name the most common, and aims to collect players’ time motion data and enable the dynamical analysis of performance. Team sports—and in particular, invasion games—present a complex dynamic by nature based on the interaction between 2 opposing sides trying to outperform 1 another. During match and training situations, players’ actions are coupled to their performance context at different interaction levels. As expected, ball, teammates’, and opponents’ positioning play an important role in this interaction process. But other factors, such as final score, teams’ development level, and players’ expertise, seem to affect the match dynamics. In this symposium, we will focus on how different constraints affect invasion games dynamics during both match and training situations. This relation will be established while underpinning the importance of these effects to game teaching and performance optimization. Regarding the match, different performance indicators based on spatial-temporal relations between players and teams will be presented to reveal the interaction processes that form the crucial component of game analysis. Considering the training, this symposium will address the relationship of small-sided games with full- sized matches and will present how players’ dynamical interaction affects different performance indicators.
