Auditoria na UE : Avaliação dos riscos do auditor: Relatório de estágio

No sentido de uma aprendizagem e de um conhecimento mais aprofundado sobre a actividade da auditoria na sua vertente interna e externa, áreas de significativo interesse para um profissional da administração pública, foi este Relatório de Estágio fectuado na Universidade de Évora, integrando a equipa de auditoria interna desta Instituição e acompanhando os trabalhos desenvolvidos pela mesma. Este trabalho visa, com particular ênfase chamar a atenção para a crescente importância da Auditoria Interna, e dos riscos associados a esta actividade, recorrendo-se ainda a práticas e procedimentos inerentes à Auditoria Externa, uma vez que entre as mesmas se encontram pontos comuns relevantes para fundamento das acções desenvolvidas. A Auditoria Interna, numa visão actual do seu funcionamento, centra a sua atenção nas actividades que a Organização exerce. É neste sentido que este trabalho de estágio deve proporcionar: - uma reflexão sobre a importância do planeamento dos trabalhos; - um levantamento e identificação dos riscos de um auditor; - uma definição dos riscos da auditoria e da materialidade. De forma a que no decorrer do mesmo seja possível interpretar as normas técnicas e directrizes de auditoria, aplicando-as na execução dos trabalhos. Estes irão desenvolver-se incidindo sobre as normas internacionais de auditoria (ISA), ISA315 - Compreensão da Entidade e do Seu Ambiente e Avaliar os Riscos de Distorção Material e ISA 330 - Os Procedimentos do Auditor em Resposta a Riscos Avaliados. /ABSTRACT: ln order to get a deeper knowledge about the activity of internal auditing, a topic of significant interest for a public administration professional, the output of this work is an Internship Report realized in the University of Évora, integrating the internal auditing team of this institution and observing the work developed by this team. This work aims to draw attention to the increasing importance of Internal Auditing and to the risks associated with this activity, using practices and procedures of External Auditing, since there are important common issues between the two types of auditing, which are relevant for the tasks under analysis. The current approach in Internal Auditing is centered in the activities that the Organization performs. It is in this sense that this internship intends to: provide a reflection on the importance of planning, identify the risks of an auditor, define auditing risks and materiality. It is also intended that during the internship there is the opportunity to interpret the technical auditing norms and directives and to apply them in the execution of auditing tasks. The work will be developed considering the international standard for Auditing (ISA), ISA 315 Obtaining and understanding of the entity and its environment and assessing the risks of material misstatement e ISA 330- Materiality in Planning and Performing an Audit.

Auditoria e controlo interno no exército: Relatório de estágio

O Sector Público em Portugal atravessa um momento de viragem. O antigo modelo de gestão, burocrático e autoritário vai, aos poucos, dando lugar a um novo modelo assente no princípio dos três "E(s)"1, economia, eficiência, eficácia, ao qual se pode juntar a sustentabilidade e o respeito pelo ambiente, procura tomar os serviços públicos amigos dos cidadãos e das boas práticas. Esta metamorfose exige, contudo, uma acção concertada não só ao nível das práticas, mas também das mentalidades num trabalho conjunto de governantes gestores e auditores. É hoje indiscutível a importância que a auditoria interna tem no seio das organizações. O sector público começa agora a dar os primeiros passos nesta área procurando através da auditoria, não só evitar fraudes e detectar erros mas também apoiar a gestão através de uma actuação directa e eficaz sobre o que está a acontecer, garantindo que os recursos que são de todos, estão a ser gastos de forma adequada. No Exército já existe uma cultura de auditoria na sua vertente tradicional, ou seja, verificação do passado, efeito persuasor, verificação da legalidade detecção de erros e fraudes. A instituição só pode ganhar se nesta área for pioneira alargando o âmbito, da sua intervenção ao nível da verificação da eficácia e da eficiência melhorando e criando uma cultura de rigor e boas práticas na sua gestão. /ABSTRACT: The public sector in Portugal is at a turning point. The old management, bureaucratic and authoritarian model is gradually giving way to a new model based on the principle of the three "E (s)2”, economy, efficiency, effectiveness and, to which we can join sustainability and environmental respect. It aims at making the public service friendly for citizens and promoting better practices. This metamorphosis, however, requires a harmonized action not only at the practice level but also in the attitudes within a joint effort of governing managers and auditors. It is nowadays· indisputable the importance that internal audit has within organizations. The public sector is beginning to take the first steps in this area, seeking in the audit not only to prevent fraud and detect errors but also to support the management by working directly and effectively on what is happening, ensuring that the resources belong to everyone, and are all being spent properly. ln the Army there is already an audit culture in its traditional area, i.e., verification of the past, persuasive effect, verification of the legality, detecting errors and fraud. The institution can only win if it is pioneer in this area by expanding the scope of its intervention at the level of verification, effectiveness and efficiency, improving and creating a culture of rigor and better practices in its management. A promoção de práticas de educação e formação para a sustentabilidade: o caso do Centro Unesco Aldeias das Ciências

O presente relatório de estágio descreve as atividades desenvolvidas no decorrer de nove meses de estágio profissional, no âmbito do Mestrado em Gestão com especialização em Recursos Humanos, na Associação Centro UNESCO Aldeia das Ciências. Este relatório tem como objetivo descrever detalhadamente as atividades desenvolvidas na instituição acolhedora, bem como apresentar um conjunto de sugestões e recomendações que permitam melhorar os processos e procedimentos. No decorrer do estágio foram desenvolvidas diversas atividades, tendo as mesmas como foco a promoção da educação para a sustentabilidade em torno de três grandes áreas: exposições com tecnologias eco-eficientes (exposição Espaço Água, Energia Sustentável e Casa Sustentável) abertas à comunidade, angariação e reutilização de materiais recicláveis e atividades lúdico-pedagógicas em contexto escolar, como por exemplo: utilização de fornos solares, recolha de tampas, caricas e rolhas (Projeto “Bora lá). A instituição através dos seus diversos projetos pretende passar a mensagem da importância no investimento na educação e formação para a sustentabilidade; Abstract: Promoting education and training practices for sustainability - The Case of the Centro UNESCO Aldeia das Ciências This internship report describes the activities developed during a nine-month internship, in the scope of the Master's Degree in Management with a specialization in Human Resources, at the Association of UNESCO Village Center of Sciences. The purpose of this report is to describe in detail the activities carried out at the hospitable institution, as well as to present a set of suggestions and recommendations to improve processes and procedures. During the internship, several activities were carried out, focusing on the promotion of education for sustainability around three major areas: exhibitions with eco-efficient technologies (exhibition on Water, Sustainable Energy and Sustainable House) open to the community, fundraising And re-use of recyclable materials and educational activities in a school context, such as: the use of solar ovens, the collection of lids, caricas and corks ("Bora lá" Project). The institution through its various projects intends to convey the message of importance in investing in education and training for sustainability.

Estágio em clínica de animais de companhia: síndrome de disfunção cognitiva canina

Este estágio foi realizado em clínica de animais de companhia. Observou e acompanhou-se tanto consultas com carácter preventivo como de clínica médica e cirúrgica. As consultas de medicina preventiva consistiram essencialmente em vacinações e desparasitações, enquanto outras foram meramente informativas. As consultas de clínica médica incidiram em diversas áreas, incluíndo dermatologia, gastroenterologia e cardiologia. As cirurgias efetuadas foram sobretudo eletivas, mas também se assistiu a cirurgias corretivas. Um dos casos observados foi um cão com disfunção cognitiva. Este foi o caso escolhido para ser alvo do estudo mais aprofundado que é apresentado na segunda secção deste relatório. A disfunção cognitiva canina é o equivalente à doença humana de Alzheimer. Esta condição é relativamente desconhecida e os seus sinais clínicos são frequentemente considerados normais da idade. No entanto, quando detetada e tratada atempadamente é possível abrandar a sua evolução, devendo os proprietários de cães afetados ser sensibilizados a procurar assistência profissional; Internship in small animal practice: canine cognitive dysfunction syndrome Abstract: This internship was conducted in small animal clinic. The attended appointments consisted mostly of cases of preventive and internal medicine and also surgical assistance. The appointments of preventive medicine included vaccinations, deworming and some merely informative sessions. The cases of internal medicine concerned areas such as dermatology, gastroenterology and cardiology. The surgical interventions were mainly optional but also corrective procedures. One of the observed cases was a dog with cognitive dysfunction. This case was elected to be the target of further study which is presented in the second section of this report. The canine cognitive dysfunction is the equivalent to the human Alzheimer’s disease. This condition is still largely unknown and its clinical presentation is often considered normal of aging. However, if detected and treated early it is possible to slow down its progress, thus the owners of affected dogs should be encouraged to seek professional assistance.
