The Oporto's St. Lourenço Church of the Jesuit College is locally known, since the St. Augustin Barefooted Eremites occupation (1779/80), as Grilos' Church. The Oporto's siege laid by D. Pedro and D. Miguel (1832/33) succeed in the college abandonment by Grilo's Friars. Throughout Augustin Friars presence period, the white plasters of the nave (end of 18th c.) were executed and it was constructed the Holly Sacrament Chapel (early 19th c.) with neoclassic coloured stuccos and plasters, influenced by Robert Adam, Luigi Chiari and Teixeira Barreto ornamental motifs. Pigments were added to the external layer to imitate the marble and to achieve the “base” colour of the panels. This study of the blue, rose and white stuccos and plasters of H.S. Chapel of Grilo's Church allows carrying out useful database on the original mortars composition by the use of different analytical techniques, important to select the most adequate solutions for restoration interventions. Optical microscopy, XRD, TG-DTA, SEM-EDS, XRF analysis results were considered to identify the composition of different layers and to provide mineralogical, microstructure and chemical characterization of the mortars components and to quantify the binder content in those mortars. These results were compared with collected information on compositions from other sources. This study allowed the identification of the decay causes of decorative stuccos and plaster, suggesting that water retention in the masonries and wooden laths structure of the dome of the chapel is the main factor.

O presente relatório é fruto da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, realizada no ano letivo 2014/2015 na Escola Básica 2, 3 com Ensino Secundário Cunha Rivara, no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino do Português no 3.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e Ensino Secundário e de Espanhol nos Ensinos Básico e Secundário, sob a orientação do Professor Doutor António Ricardo Mira. Esta fase prática do mestrado assume-se como momento charneira na formação de futuros professores, porquanto representa o espaço ideal para aferir e testar métodos e técnicas aplicáveis aos processos de ensino/aprendizagem. Nesse sentido, e partindo do pressuposto de que o aluno deve ser o ator principal ao longo deste processo, este relatório assume uma função descritiva, mas, em simultâneo, outra dimensão, tão ou mais importante, no domínio da reflexão e da interiorização de práticas pedagógico-didáticas e de comportamentos relacionais, assumidos durante este processo. Assim, desenvolve-se em cinco componentes, que se complementam: preparação científica, pedagógica e didática; planificação e condução de aulas e avaliação de aprendizagens; análise da prática de ensino; participação na escola e desenvolvimento profissional; ABSTRACT: This report is the result of Supervised Teaching Practice, held in the school year 2014/2015 at the Basic and Secondary School 2, 3 “Cunha Rivara”, within the Master degree: “Teaching Portuguese in the 3rd cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education and Spanish in basic and secondary education”, under the guidance of Professor Ricardo Antonio Mira. This practice of master stage is assumed as a key moment in the training of future teachers, because it is the ideal place and moment to measure and test methods and techniques applicable to teaching / learning processes. Accordingly, and assuming that the student must be the main actor throughout this process, this report takes a descriptive function, but at the same time, another dimension, equally important in the field of reflection and practices internalization, pedagogical-didactic and relational behaviors made during this process. Thus it develops into five components, which complement each other: scientific, pedagogical and didactic preparation; planning and conducting classes and learning evaluation; analysis of the teaching practice; participation in school and professional development.

A depressão é uma perturbação mental que provoca um impacto negativo na vida dos doentes. O tratamento desta patologia pode ser realizado através de terapêutica farmacológica, ou de intervenções psicoterapêuticas. A Psicoeducação é uma modalidade de tratamento, que tem vindo a ganhar um lugar em destaque no processo de recuperação de determinadas doenças mentais. Esta abordagem tem como principal objetivo fornecer informações ao doente sobre a sua situação clínica e disponibilizar ferramentas para lidar com as particularidades do problema de saúde. As intervenções psicoeducativas são realizadas através de sessões expositivas de conhecimentos técnicos sobre a depressão. Assim, o objetivo do presente trabalho é apresentar um programa de psicoeducação, dando principal enfoque ao papel dos vários métodos e técnicas pedagógicas utilizadas no mesmo; Abstract: The importance of psychoeducation in changing the mood in depressed patients Depression is a mental disorder that causes a negative impact on patients' lives. Treatment of this condition may be achieved through drug therapy, or psychotherapeutic intervention. The Psychoeducational is a treatment modality that has gained importance because of the positive impact it has on the recovery of certain mental illness process. This approach aims to provide information to the patient about their medical situation and provide tools to deal with the particularities of the health problem. The psychoeducational interventions are carried out through expository sessions of technical knowledge about depression. The objective of this study is to present a psychoeducation program, giving primary focus to the role of various educational methods and techniques used in it.

This document addresses the direct and indirect use of energy in European organic greenhouse horticulture (OGH) with the aim of reviewing available means for making it more environmental friendly and identifying knowledge gaps that should be addressed to attain this aim. The first observation is that there is no common regulation for energy use in OGH, which is not unexpected, since the need for climatisation is not uniformly distributed in the EU (and outside). Accordingly, the EU directive on organic agriculture does not set limitations on the use of energy, but rather promotes the responsible use of energy and of natural resources. The restrictions and rules of most private standards are slightly more stringent. Some standards have specific restrictions on the amount and sources of energy and/or on the seasonal use of energy for heating. Some standards also address processes that may affect (in)direct energy use, such as cultivation methods, mulching, lighting and growing media or substrates. However, most private standards have no or little restrictions or regulations on energy use. Accordingly, it should not surprise that very little quantitative information is available about energy use in OGH. In the present document we have filled the gaps with data with estimates drawn on energy use in conventional greenhouses. With respect to ongoing research, whereas many of the present research results about energy use and saving in conventional greenhouses are relevant (and also applied) in OGH, little research is devoted to address the energy use that is peculiar to OGH, particularly energy use for humidity control. In short, there are still a lot of knowledge gaps to improve quality and to lower energy use in organic greenhouses. The purpose of this document is a summary of present relevant knowledge about energy use and energy saving and of the perspective for improvement. In particular, the goal is to make an overview on the methods and technologies which can be used to reduce the energy use in OGH. We start from the assumption that methods and technologies that are used for reducing direct and indirect energy in conventional greenhouses can also be applied in organic greenhouses. Research on reducing energy use in conventional greenhouses is also more widely available because the area of conventional greenhouse horticulture is much larger than the area of OGH. When implementing these methods and techniques we should take into account the specific characteristics of organic agriculture like soil-based cultivation, use of organic fertilizers and the limited use of crop protection products. This document is organised as follows: first we report the results of a survey about energy use and relevant standards in the countries participating to the COST action (chapter 1); then we review the energy use for climatisation: heating (chapter 2) and humidity (chapter 3). In chapter 4 we review the available design and management means that would either reduce energy use and/or increase energy use efficiency by increasing productivity of OGH. In chapter 5 we present a short summary of existing information on indirect energy use, that is the energy required to manufacture production means (greenhouse structure and cover, fertilisers, equipment etc.) and for crop protection, particularly steaming, and briefly discuss possible savings. Finally (chapter 6) we review briefly the potential for application of renewable energy sources in OGH.
