Literature emphasises the sparse research focused in collaborative and open approaches in the design conceptualisation stage, also known as the Fuzzy Front-End (FFE). Presently, the most challenging discussion arising from this specific field of research lies in understanding on whether or not to structure the referred conceptual stage. Accordingly, the established hypothesis behind this study sustains that a structured approach in the FFE would benefit the interdisciplinary dialogue. Therefore, two objectives support this study: to understand the benefits of an interdisciplinary approach in the FFE, and to test one proposed model for this conceptual stage. By means of a small-scale design experiment, this paper pretends to give additional contributions to this area of research, in the context of new product development (NPD). The general research supporting this specific study aims to conceptualise in the area of newly and futuristic aircraft configurations. Hence, this same topic based the conceptualisation process in the conducted ideation sessions, which are conducted by five different teams of three elements each. The results of the different ideation sessions reinforce the contemporary paradigm of Open Innovation (OI), which is based in trust and communication to better collaborate. The postulated hypothesis for this study is partially validated as teams testing the proposed and structured model generally consider that its usage would benefit the integration of different disciplines. Besides, a general feeling that a structured approach integrates different perspectives and gives creativity a focus pervades. Nevertheless, the small-scale of the design experiment attributes some limitations to this study, despite giving new insights in how to better organise coming and more sustained studies. Interestingly, the importance of sketching as an interdisciplinary means of communication is underlined with the obtained results.

Este trabalho permitiu compreender a necessidade da construção articulada das aprendizagens para promover aprendizagens significativas; Supervised teaching Practice in Pre-school and Primary Education: Integrated Knowledge Construction Abstract: This is the report of the action-research project developed in the context of a Pre-school and a Primary School focused on the integration of knowledge, part of the curricular unit Supervised Teaching Practice of the Master in Pre-school Education and Teaching in Basic Education (1st cycle). The objectives of this work are: to understand the nature of learning in the early ages through not only promoting the construction of an articulated knowledge while avoiding its disciplinarization, but also using several languages and implement the project methodology in curricular work. The theoretical framework seeks to explore the concepts of interdisciplinarity and the integration of knowledge’s construction in the processes of learning as the project’s work as a basic framework of knowledge construction. Adopting an action-research methodology, several instruments were used for data collection and analysis, such as observation, field notes and interviews to children, allowing to reach the stipulated objectives. This study provided the understanding of the need for the learning’s articulated creation to promote relevant learning.

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to understand the development of modelling tasks, by a Mathematics teacher and a Physics-Chemistry teacher, as part of collaborative work. For this study were formulated three guidelines: 1. How do teachers select and prepare the modelling tasks to present to the students in a classroom situation? What characteristics of these tasks are essential for their selection? 2. How do teachers develop the modelling tasks in the classroom? How do they manage and dynamize the classes where the modelling tasks took place? What role it's reserd to the teacher and the student? 3. How do teachers exploit the potential of graphics calculator in the development of the modelling tasks? What issues arise for the use of sensors? This study took place at a secundary school during the academic year 2005/06, as a suggestion and with the participation of the researcher, involving a Mathematics teacher and a Physics-Chemistry teacher of the same class (10th grade). The collaborative group had regular meetings and prepared and developed modellin tasks in the classroom using graphics calculator and sensors, which was a new activity for all the teachears. The methodology used has a qualitative nature. Two interviews were made to each teacher, one at baseline and another at the end of the study, fourteen work sections and three modelling tasks were explored in classroom context after which followed small interviews to the teacher that gave the class. ln addition records were also made in a small "log-book". This study allowed to reach the following conclusions: - When the teachers select the modelling tasks to offer its students they take into account the programs, the contents and the diversity of questions that can be made on it and the interest and significance of the experience for students. - The time needed for preparation and implementation of the modelling tasks is another factor of great weight in its selection. - The high number of student per class can be a negative factor for the development of modelling tasks in the classroom. Iii - ln the teacher’s opinion, the use of the graphics calculator and sensors to collect data on a modelling tasks makes its more attractive and helps students to understand the situation and makes clearer the link between Mathematics and Physics.

The present paper discusses the problem of the plurality of the text, as a cultural object, and its implications for the textual criticism activity. Starting from the fact that the nature of the textual object, especially in the case of ancient texts and literary texts, requires the editor to call into play very diverse knowledge – among which stands out the linguistic knowledge, but also the knowledge of the work, its characteristics and context – we advocate that a «philological» approach, multi and interdisciplinary, of the text editing is still needed, desirably carried out by teams of experts in different scientific fields. We exemplify, among others, with the case of the editions of the Sermões, by Vieira.

The World Congress Silvo-Pastoral Systems 2016 aims to gather researchers from different disciplines, practitioners and policy makers at different governance levels that deal with the management and sustainability of silvo-pastoral systems. In this way the congress will create a fertile context to progress through interdisciplinarity research approaches that can help translate scientific knowledge into new adaptive management solutions, and thus bridge from science to practice. The aim is also to gather and compare knowledge from silvo-pastoral systems around the world, which share drought as a limiting factor, so that they can be discussed and evaluated.
