The relationship between the themes of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Social Responsibility (CSR) through the concepts, approaches and models of excellence is a reality of sustainable and stable companies. Being organizations, people, act correctly and rightly do in society go through a quality management and social responsibility thereof. It is based on these two philosophies (Total Quality Management and Corporate Social Responsibility), which developed this literature review work, essentially based on a relational analysis in two papers, namely: "TQM and CSR Nexus" by Ghobadian et al. (2007) and "The Corporate Social Responsibility Audit Within the Quality Management Framework," de Kok et al. (2001) and applied to an organizational situation in concrete: the Nabeiro Delta Cafés Group - SGPS, SA.

Este trabalho tem por base o relato de um ano lectivo 2009/201O de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada (PES) para a especialidade do grau de Mestre em Ensino de Educação Física nos Ensinos Básico e Secundário, leccionado na Universidade de Ãvora e contribui para a avaliação do mesmo. O estágio foi realizado no agrupamento de Escolas n° 4 de Ãvora - EB 2,3 Conde de Vilalva; EB1 Jardim de Infância e Escola Secundária Gabriel Pereira, abrangendo os três ciclos de aprendizagem dando assim cumprimento à exigência curricular. Relata de forma sucinta a preparação científica, pedagógica e didáctica desde o conhecimento do currículo, do conteúdo e dos alunos. Desenvolve de forma fundamentada a planificação, condução de aulas e avaliação das aprendizagens. Faz uma análise das actividades desenvolvidas como professor de uma disciplina e como participante activo na escola e na comunidade escolar. Tenta fundamentar as estratégias, metodologias e decisões tomadas. Por último, realiza uma análise da prática de ensino. O que foi constatado nesta pequena experiência foi uma prática mais consciente e um respeito maior, por nós mesmo, enquanto profissional da educação, e pelos alunos, enquanto sujeitos activos no processo de ensino/aprendizagem. ABSTRACT: This work is based on the report of an academic year 2009/2010 Supervised Teaching Practice (PES) for the specialty Master's degree in Teaching Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Schools, taught at the University of Ãvora and contribute to the evaluation the same. The group stage was held at school n8 4 EB 2,3 Conde Vilalva e Kindergarten and Secondary school Gabriel Pereira, covering the three cycles of learning thus fulfilling the curricular requirement. Reports briefly the scientific training and didactic knowledge from the curriculum the content and pupils. Develop and informed opinion to planning, conducting classes and learning assessment. Makes and analyses of the activities as a teacher of a discipline and as an active participant in school and school community. Try the strategies, methodologies and decisions. Finally makes an analysis of teaching practice. What was found on this little experiment was a more conscious practice and a greater respect for ourselves as professional education, and students as active participants in the teaching /learning.

Bangla OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is a long deserving software for Bengali community all over the world. Numerous e efforts suggest that due to the inherent complex nature of Bangla alphabet and its word formation process development of high fidelity OCR producing a reasonably acceptable output still remains a challenge. One possible way of improvement is by using post processing of OCRâs output; algorithms such as Edit Distance and the use of n-grams statistical information have been used to rectify misspelled words in language processing. This work presents the first known approach to use these algorithms to replace misrecognized words produced by Bangla OCR. The assessment is made on a set of fifty documents written in Bangla script and uses a dictionary of 541,167 words. The proposed correction model can correct several words lowering the recognition error rate by 2.87% and 3.18% for the character based n- gram and edit distance algorithms respectively. The developed system suggests a list of 5 (five) alternatives for a misspelled word. It is found that in 33.82% cases, the correct word is the topmost suggestion of 5 words list for n-gram algorithm while using Edit distance algorithm the first word in the suggestion properly matches 36.31% of the cases. This work will ignite rooms of thoughts for possible improvements in character recognition endeavour.

The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the best set of features that automatically enables the identification of argumentative sentences from unstructured text. As corpus, we use case laws from the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). Three kinds of experiments are conducted: Basic Experiments, Multi Feature Experiments and Tree Kernel Experiments. These experiments are basically categorized according to the type of features available in the corpus. The features are extracted from the corpus and Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest are the used as Machine learning algorithms. We achieved F1 score of 0.705 for identifying the argumentative sentences which is quite promising result and can be used as the basis for a general argument-mining framework.

A photovoltaic cell is a component which converts light energy into electrical energy. Different environmental parameters and internal parameters have a great impact on the output of the photovoltaic cell. To identify its characteristics and estimate the output, the well known Shockley diode equation is used. This equation contains all the parameters, as one environmental and different internal. The properties of these parameters were studied and their sensitivity have been analyzed through the use of an error function; this error function allows the study of the behaviour of the parameters and their characteristics against the output of the photovoltaic cell through the analysis of its curves giving the sensitivity of the different parameters to the output of the photovoltaic cell. Using these results the impact of the parameters of the photovoltaic cell has been clearly identified. White noise is included both with the ideal values and the simulation and the ideal value is imposed to get the real time environment flavor. This work analyses both systems with and without white noise.
