MAKING THE GROUP CATALOGUE OF PERIODICALS UNIT INFORMATION DOCUMENT OF THE FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

We present the results of the final graduation practice called "Creating the Serials Union Catalogue of Documentary Information Units of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the National University" which consisted of creating a computerized catalog for periodicals by GENISIS program. Unit of documentary information: Faculty of Social Sciences National University: CIDCSO (Documentary Information Centre of Social Sciences), FBEH (Bibliographical School of History), MA (International Relations Specialist Library "Luis and Felipe Molina ") and CINPE (Library of the National Centre for Economic Policy on Sustainable Development).

The Pros and Cons of a Field Project: The case of the Laboratory School in Heredia

This article reviews some of the most important characteristics of the Laboratory School in Heredia, Costa Rica, for recognizing the success aspects and setbacks that an innovative experience of an educational project has within the national education system. It is a description of the pedagogical model of the school and includes the vision that different participants have in this educational project, around which it is showed the different positions of the actors who live and reflect daily in the school.

It is no secret that computer services came to revolutionize the world. More than a service, have since become an indispensable tool for humanity, because they simplify and make life easier in many of his orders, through its various support options. These advances are added Internet services, so that by the mid 1980's assessed the need for such a research tool in order to apply it in various fields of human knowledge.This research, based on the use and quality of documentary information from the Internet, with application to the students of the Universidad Nacional, Costa Rica, if the Library Board Laboratory Joaquin Garcia Monge, develops in the form of theses.

LA GEOGRAFÍA: APORTES AL DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE

La geografía se plantea como  la disciplina mejor capacitada para construir un enfoque de desarrollo menos destructivo, más social y sostenible. Este  artículo promueve una mejor  comprensión del valor de  la perspectiva geográfica  al desarrollo sostenible. La Geografía como puente entre  las ciencias naturales y  sociales permite que veamos el paisaje como producto de la interacción del ser humano con el ambiente. La   geografía como disciplina científica facilita la construcción de un desarrollo sostenible.
