The purpose of this research was to analyze whether the use of technological resources may be feasible in the implementation of the environmental culture cross-cutting factor for sustainable development, which focuses on environmental issues related to the contents of the Science study program for the seventh year of the basic general education. The research design is qualitative with a dominant approach and uses some quantitative elements specifically in the design of instruments and some data analysis techniques. The type of study was developed with a multi-method approach; a trend that has been shaping a research style which integrates various methods in a single design. For this, we identified the didactic strategies and their relationship to both, technology and the environmental axis for sustainable development, used by six Science teachers of the 7th grade, in public institutions of the province of Heredia, Central Valley, Costa Rica, as well as the opinion of 20 students from that same grade. The main results include the opinions of the students, who showed a considerable interest in classes where technological resources are used. However, teachers do not show great interest or positive opinions on this matter; in addition, they are not well trained on the use of technological resources. It was also identified that the teaching personal who participated in the study do not develop this curricular axis.

Abstract The concept of integral reparation in Colombia is mediated largely by the decisions of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. This has led to some progress in broadening the spectrum of economic reparations; in the possibility of reopening investigations sheltered by the intangibility for defendants; in the participation of victims in criminal and disciplinary proceedings, besides in some symbolic forms of reparation. However, there is general lack of real political will and legal mechanisms that enable that comprehensive reparation be a reality. Furthermore, crossing inter-American court decisions with the decisions of the Colombian State Council has created absurd situations that, although theoretically are seen as a breakthrough, in real terms are a retreat from the rights of victims. This is due to the apparent similarity in the competencies of both courts; a mistaken reading of the State Council on the limits and real possibilities of their jurisdiction, and finally, the Court has not adopted clear criteria regarding economic reparations and in relation to consistent compliance with its sentences. Keywords: repair, Colombia, Interamerican Court of Human rights, State Council.

AbstractThe Inter-American Court with the two advisory opinions on the situation of migrant workers in the United States is emphasizing the fact that the United States has the obligation to respect and guaranteefundamental rights. With this purpose, it should take positive actions, avoiding taking initiatives to limit or infringe a fundamental right, and eliminate measures and practices that restrict or violate afundamental rights. Failure by any discriminatory treatment of the general obligation to respect and guarantee human rights, gives rise to international responsibility. The principle of equality and nondiscrimination is fundamental for the protection of human rights both in international law and the domestic. The fundamental principle of equality and non discriminationforms part of the general international law as applicable to all States, regardless of party or a specific international treaty. At the current stage of evolution of international law, the fundamentalprinciple of equality and non-discrimination has entered the domain of jus cogens, ie of universally accepted principles that do not support position against it. The fundamental principle of equality andnondiscrimination, a peremptory nature, entails obligations to protect that bind all States and generate effects on third parties, including individuals. Keywords: migration, human rights, Inter-American Court, advisory opinion.
