More cercosporoid hyphomycetes from some South Pacific island countries

Two new cercosporoid hyphomycetes from Vanuatu, Cercospora sphathulata and Pseudocercospora pometiae, are described and illustrated. Six new records of cercosporoid hyphomycetes that cause plant diseases from New Caledonia, Samoa and Vanuatu are given. Four new hosts of Cercospora apii s. lat. from the region are reported.

Paliphora intermedia sp nov from Australia

Paliphora intermedia sp. nov. (Hyphomycetes) from unidentified leaf litter collected in Queensland, Australia is described and compared with the two other species in the genus.
