Manuscript: "Austrian Anti-Semitism: One Woman's Experience". 1990; English, 14 p.; typed. Essay, based largely on an interview, recounting the experiences of the Viennese Jewish woman Marta Garelick in Austria in the 1930s. Garelick was the first female lawyer in Vienna, and emigrated to Ireland shortly after the Anschluss.

The manuscript contains letters written by Samuel Kahn to his daughter in the USA between 1934 and 1937.

Gertrud and Louis Stern Collection 1932-1947

Gisela Simon, née Stern was born 1931, the daughter of the butcher Louis Stern (born 1891 in Abterode) and Gertrud Stern née Fackenheim (born 1898 in Halle a.d.S.). The family was deported to Theresienstadt in 1942 and immigrated to the United States after liberation.
