对微尺度气体流动,Navier-Stokes方程和一阶速度滑移边界条件的结果与实验数据相比,在滑移区相互符合,在过渡领域则显著偏离,为改善Navier-Stokes方程在过渡领域的表现,有些研究者尝试引入二阶速度滑移边界条件,如Cercignani模型,Deissler模型和Beskok-Karniadakis模型.以微槽道气体流动为例,将Navier-Stokes方程在不同的二阶速度滑移模型下的结果与动理论的直接模拟Monte Carlo(DSMC)方法和信息保存(IP)方法以及实验数据进行比较.在所考察的3种具有代表性的二阶速度滑移模型中,Cercignani模型表现最好,其所给出的质量流率在Knudsen数为0.4时仍与DSMC和IP结果相符;然而,细致比较表明,Cercignani模型给出的物面滑移速度及其附近的速度分布在滑流区和过渡领域的分界处(Kn=0.1)已明显偏离DSMC和IP的结果.

针对90°全息记录结构的特殊性,在记录和读出阶段分别施加不同极性的外加电场,实现了Fe:LiNbO3晶体中高衍射效率的全息记录和读出。在库赫塔列夫(Kukhtarev)方程基础上引人两维耦合波理论,对组合外加电场提高掺铁铌酸锂晶体光折变特性的机理进行了探讨。实验和理论计算结果都表明这种分别在记录和读出过程施加不同极性组合的外加电场是在Fe:LiNbO3中实现高衍射效率90°记录结构体全息的有效技术方案。

We describe high-efficiency, high-dispersion reflection gratings fabricated in bulk fused Silica illuminated by incident lights in the C + L bands as (de)multiplexers for dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) application. Based on the phenomenon of total internal reflection, gratings with optimized profile parameters exhibit diffraction efficiencies of more than 90% under TM- and TE-polarized incident lights for 101-nm spectral bandwidths (1520-1620 nm) and can reach an efficiency of greater than 97% for both polarizations at a wavelength of 1550 nm. Without loss of metal absorption, without coating of dielectric film layers, and independent of tooth shape, this new kind of grating should be of great interest for DWDM application. 陆地生态系统的呼吸作用是全球碳循环的一个主要通量和响应全球变化的一个潜在的重要正反馈机制。研究陆地生态系统的呼吸作用特征及其对生物环境因子的响应具有重要意义。本实验利用涡度相关技术对内蒙古库布齐沙漠两个不同土地利用类型的生态系统(人工种植杨树林和天然的油蒿灌丛)2006年生长季(4-10月)的生态系统呼吸特征进行比较研究,并分析了控制生态系统呼吸(Re)的生物与环境因子。结果表明:在这两种生态系统中Re存在着显著的日变化和季节变化,两个生态系统之间Re也存在着显著差异。Re日平均最大值分别2.0 mol CO2 m-2 s-1和1.7 mol CO2 m-2 s-1,都显著低于其他类似生态系统。杨树林和油蒿灌丛的生态系统Re与空气温度都表现出明显的指数相关关系,温度敏感指数Q10分别为1.11和1.12。两个生态系统的Re都与土壤水分含量呈显著的线性正相关关系,表明库布齐沙漠的生态系统的Re受到了土壤水分条件的限制。杨树林和油蒿灌丛生态系统呼吸Re都与叶面积指数的有线性回归关系,说明叶面积指数对生态系统呼吸有很好的指示作用。 本文还选择了两个生态系统内四种常见的土壤覆盖类型(分别是:杨树林生态系统的沙地SL和低洼地BL;油蒿灌丛生态系统的灌丛间BS和灌丛内WS),利用动态密闭气室测定了5-9月土壤呼吸的季节动态以及植株尺度的小尺度空间异质性。结果表明:1)不同土壤覆盖类型的土壤呼吸存在着很大的差异,其中低洼地BL和沙地SL分别有着最大和最小值,灌丛内WS的土壤呼吸要明显高于灌丛外BS。根生物量是导致它们之间差异的主要原因。2)土壤呼吸与土壤含水量之间的线性关系表明,土壤水分是两个生态系统土壤呼吸的限制因子。3)两个生态系统土壤呼吸存在着明显的小尺度差异,在靠近植株(0.5m内)地方的土壤呼吸的值明显高于距植株0.5m外的值,而0.5m外的土壤呼吸没有显著差异。小尺度土壤呼吸与根生物量之间明显的线性关系,说明根生物量是导致小尺度土壤呼吸差异的原因。本实验对沙漠生态系统的土壤呼吸和生态系统呼吸特征及其影响因子的研究,对准确的估计这一地区的碳收支有很大的帮助,为深入的理解干旱半干旱地区的生态系统碳循环提供了有价值的信息。

应用流式细胞仪分离赤麂的1,Yl,Y2染色体,通过简并寡核苷酸引物聚合 酶链武反应(DOP-PCR)增加模板数量.用人的性别决定基因HMG框内设计1对引 物进行PCR扩增.在雄性赤麂Y2染色体DOP-PCR产物中扩增出与人SRY基因同源 的Sly基因片段,经克隆测序后,初步证明赤麂Y2染色体是真正的Y染色体,同时对 赤麂s珂基因进行了初步定位.

为探讨铜串珠节育器在人类临床上的应用前景,选健康有生育史的雌、雄猴63只,分设实验组(n=28:=1:3)与对照组(n=25:=3~4)进行比较研究。实验组雄猴在距副率4~6公分处的输精管内置入铜串珠节育器。术后25d按上述比例进行不育性试验观察。结果:第一年不育率75.7%;第二年、第三年分别为57.1%、56.4%。但实验组不育效果在个体之间有很大差异,有四只雄猴(占57.1%)置器后第三年仍处于不育水平。试验中发现许多问题,有待深入研究探讨。

饲养在滇池水中的椭圆背角无齿蚌氨基酸含量只有饲养在松华坝水库水中蚌的氨基酸含量一半,质量分数分别是680 57mg/hg和1477 14mg/hg。检测表明椭圆背角无齿蚌对砷、铅、锌、铜、铁元素有一定的富集能力,说明由于滇池污染,椭圆背角无齿蚌在滇池中虽然可以生存,但这一物种资源的利用价值受到严重影响。

Iron deficiency can induce cyanobacteria to synthesize siderophore receptor proteins on the outer membrane to enhance the uptake of iron. In this study, an outer membrane of high purity was prepared from Anabaena sp. PCC 7120 based on aqueous polymer two-phase partitioning and discontinuous sucrose density ultra-centrifugation, and the induction of outer membrane proteins by iron deficiency was investigated using 2-D gel electrophoresis. At least. five outer membrane proteins were newly synthesized or significantly up-regulated in cells transferred to iron-deficient conditions, which were all identified to be siderophore receptor proteins according to MALDI-TOF-MS analyses. Bacterial luciferase reporter genes luxAB were employed to monitor the transcription of the encoding genes. The genes were induced by iron deficiency at the transcriptional level in different responsive modes. Luciferase activity expressed from an iron-regulated promoter may be used as a bioreporter for utilizable iron in natural water samples. The edible blue-green alga, Nostoc sphaeroides Kutzing, is able to form microcolonies and spherical macrocolonies. It has been used as a potent herbal medicine and dietary supplement for centuries because of its nutraceutical and pharmacological benefits. However, limited information is available on the development of the spherical macrocolonies and the environmental factors that affect their structure. This report described the morphogenesis of N. sphaeroides from single trichomes to macrocolonies. During the process, most structural features of macrocolonies of various sizes were dense maculas, rings, the compact core and the formation of liquid core; and the. laments within the macrocolonies showed different lengths and arrays depending on the sizes of macrocolonies. Meanwhile temperature and light intensity also strongly affected the internal structure of macrocolonies. As microcolonies further increased in size to form 30 mm macrocolonies, the colonies differentiated into distinct outer, middle and inner layers. The. laments of the outer layer showed higher maximum photosynthetic rates, higher light saturation point, and higher photosynthetic effciency than those of the inner layer; whereas the. laments of the inner layer had a higher content of chlorophyll a and phycobiliproteins than those of the outer layer. The results obtained in this study were important for the mass cultivation of N. sphaeroides as a nutraceutical product. Hexabromocyclododecanes (HBCDs) are additive brominated flame retardants mainly used in plastics and textiles. At the present time, these compounds are found in almost all environmental and human samples. In order to evaluate the environmental safety and health risk of HBCDs, the enantiomerically pure alpha-, beta-, and gamma-HBCD were prepared using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) on a PM-P-CD column and the cytotoxicities of their enantiomers were evaluated in Hep G2 cells. Results from the 3-(4,5-dimethylthioazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT), resazurin reduction and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release assays showed a good agreement that the order of cytotoxicity was gamma-HBCD >= beta-HBCD > alpha-HBCD, and that significantly lower cell viability and higher LDH release were observed in all (+)-enantiomers ((+) alpha-, (+) beta- and (+) gamma-HBCD) than the corresponding (-)-forms ((-) alpha-, (-) beta- and (-) gamma-HBCD). Additionally, the formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) induced by these HBCD enantiomers were detected. The positive correlation between the LDH release and ROS formation demonstrated that the toxic mechanism might be mediated by oxidative damage. These results suggest that environmental and human health risks of HBCDs must be evaluated at the level of individual enantiomers. (C) 2008 Published by Elsevier Ltd.

A photonic wire-based directional coupler based on SOI was fabricated by e-beam lithography (EBL) and the inductively coupled plasma (ICP) etching method. The size of the sub-micron waveguide is 0.34 mu m x 0.34 mu m, and the length in the coupling region and the separation between the two parallel waveguides are 410 and 0.8 mu m, respectively. The measurement results are in good agreement with the results simulated by 3D finite-difference time-domain method. The transmission power from two output ports changed reciprocally with about 23 nm wavelength spacing between the coupled and direct ports. The extinction ratio of the device was between 5 and 10 dB, and the insertion loss of the device in the wavelength range 1520-1610 nm was between 22 and 24 dB, which included an about 18.4 +/- 0.4 dB coupling loss between the taper fibers and the polished sides of the device.
