CoWO4 nano-particles were successfully synthesized at a low temperature of 270 degrees C by a molten salt method, and effects of such processing parameters as holding time and salt quantity on the crystallization and development Of CoWO4 crystallites were initially studied. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM). and photoluminescent spectra techniques (PL), respectively. Experimental results showed that the well-crystallized CoWO4 nano-particles with ca. 45 nm in diameter could be obtained at 270 degrees C for a holding time of 8 h with 6:1 mass ratio of the salt to CoWO4 precursor, and XRD analysis evidenced that the as-prepared sample was a pure monoclinic phase Of CoWO4 with wolframite structure. Their PL spectra revealed that the CoWO4 nano-particles displayed a very strong PL peak at 453 nm with the excitation wavelength of 230 nm, and PL properties of CoWO4 crystallites relied on their crystalline state, especially on their particle size. Nickel tungstate (NiWO4) nano-particles were successfully synthesized at low temperatures by a molten salt method, and characterized by Xray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and ultraviolet visible spectra techniques (UV-vis), respectively. The effects of calcining temperature and salt quantity on the crystallization and development of NiWO4 crystallites were studied. Experimental results showed that the well-crystallized NiWO4 nano-particles with about 30 nm in diameter could be prepared at 270 degrees C with 6:1 mass ratio of the salt to NiWO4 precursor. XRD analysis confirmed that the product was a pure monoclinic phase of NiWO4 with wolframite structure. UV-vis spectrum revealed that NiWO4 nano-particles had good light absorption properties in both ultraviolet and visible light region. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l. 为了改进微流控芯片中液体混合效率,尝试在一种液体中加入磁性纳米颗粒,增强与另外一种液体混合.在外加磁场作用下,对Y型微槽道中磁性与非磁性液体流动混合进行了实验观测,所需混合长度较无磁场时缩短了约2个数量级.利用CFD软件进行数值模拟,验证了外磁场作用下纳米磁性液体对流动混合有着明显的强化作用.

A novel method of grafting ring-opening polymerization of L-lactide (LLA) onto the surface of hydroxyapatite nano-particles (n-HAP) was developed. PLLA was directly connected onto the HAP surface through a chemical linkage. The PLLA-g-HAP particles could be stably dispersed in organic solvent such as chloroform for several weeks. The n-HAP particles still retained the original dimension and shape after the grafting of PLLA. Compared with the P-31 MAS-NMR spectrum of pure HAP powders, there appeared a downfield displacement of 1.2 ppm in the spectrum of PLLA-g-HAP. Fourier transformation infrared (FT-IR) spectra further confirmed the existence of PLLA on the surface of PLLA-g-HAP. The amount of grafted polymer determined by thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) was about 6% in weight. The tensile strength and elongation at break of the PLLA/PLLA-g-HAP composite containing 8 wt% of PLLA-g-HAP were 55 MPa and about 10-13%, respectively, while those of the PLLA/n-HAP composites were 40 MPa and 3-5%, respectively.

Fully sulfonated polyaniline nano-particles, nano-fibrils and nano-networks have been achieved for the first time by electrochemical homopolymerization of orthanilic acid using a three-step electrochemical deposition procedure in a mixed solvent of acetonitrile (ACN) and water. The diameter of the uniform nano-particles is about 60nm, and the nano-fibrils can be organized in two-dimensional (21)) or three-dimensional (313) non-periodic networks with good electrical contact. Average distance between contacts is about 850 and 600 nm for a 2D and 3D system, respectively. The details of the poly(orthanilic acid) (POA) nano-structure were examined with a field emission scanning electron microscope (SEM). The structure and properties of POA were characterized with FTIR, UV-vis and electrochemical methods. The 3D POA nano-networks coated platinum electrode gave a direct electrochemical behavior of horse heart cytochrome c (Cyt c) immobilized on this electrode surface, a pair of well-defined redox waves with formal potential (E-ol) of -0.032 V (versus Ag/AgCl) was achieved. The interaction between Cyt c and POA makes the formal potential shift negatively compared to that of Cyt c in solution. Spectrophotometric and electrochemical methods were used to investigate the interaction of Cyt c with POA.

纳米粒子布朗运动特性对Micro-/Nano-PIV的使用和与粒子相关的物理现象的研究有重要意义.观测了200nm荧光粒子的布朗运动,利用单粒子追踪(SPT)算法和自编程序处理图像,获得粒子的均方位移,计算了实验扩散系数D_(exp)为2.09×10~(-12) m~2/s.与Stokes-Einstein公式估计的理论扩散系数D_(th)相比,二者量阶一致,但实验扩散系数的数值偏小约5%.对相关的实验误差进行了分析.

A novel multifunctional inorganic-organic photorefractive (PR) poly(N-vinyl)-3-[p-nitrophenylazolcarbazolyl-CdS nanocomposites with different molar ratios of US to poly(N-vinyl)-3-[p-nitrophenylazo]carbazolyl (PVNPAK) were synthesized via a postazo-coupling reaction and chemically hybridized approach, respectively. The nanocomposites are highly soluble and could be obtained as film-forming materials with appreciably high molecular weights and low glass transition temperature (T,) due to the flexible spacers. The PVNPAK matrix possesses a highest-occupied molecular orbital value of about -5.36 eV determined from cyclic voltammetry. Second harmonic generation (SHG) could be observed in PVNPAK film without any poling procedure and 4.7 pm/V of effective second-order nonlinear optical susceptibility is obtained. The US particles as photosensitizers had a nanoscale size in PVNPAK adopting transmission electron microscopy. The improvement of interface quality between US and polymer matrix is responsible for efficient photoinduced charge generation efficiency in the nanocomposites. An asymmetric optical energy exchange between two beams on the polymer composites PVNPAK-CdS/ECZ has been found even without an external field in two-beam coupling (TBC) experiment, and the TBC gain and diffraction efficiency of 14.26 cm(-1) and 3.4% for PVNPAK-5-CdS/ECZ, 16.43 cm(-1) and 4.4% for PVNPAK-15-CdS/ECZ were measured at a 647.1 nm wavelength, respectively.

多粒子追踪(MPT)是测量粒子布朗运动的一种方法。在200nm粒子扩散系数实验测量中,对MPT方法中的粒子识别和粒子匹配两个重要环节提出改进:在粒子识别时,通过调节灰度阈值并检测光斑面积的改变,可有效分别真实粒子和光晕引起的"伪粒子";在粒子匹配中,将手动追踪和程序追踪得到的粒子单步位移用矢量法表示,可直观显示不同追踪方法的粒子匹配效果。实验结果表明,在MPT方法中增加上述措施后,手动追踪和程序追踪获得的实验扩散系数之间的偏差由8%~13%减小为2%~8%,说明基于阈值敏感性的"伪粒子"剔除方法合理、有效。

SiO2-CaO-P2O5 gel bioglass (BG) nanoparticles with the diameter of 40 nm were synthesized by sol-gel approach. The surface of BG nanoparticles was grafted through the ring-open polymerization of the L-lactide to yield poly (L-lactide) (PLLA) grafted gel particle (PLLA-g-BG). The PLLA-g-BG was further blended with poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) to prepare the nanocomposites of PLLA-g-BG/PLGA with the various blend ratios of two phases. PLLA-g-BG accounted 10%, 20% and 40% in the composite, respectively. TGA, ESEM and EDX were used to analyze the graft ratio of PLLA-g-BG, the dispersion of nano-particles and the surface elements of the composites respectively. The rabbit osteoblasts were seeded and cultured on the thin films of composites in vitro. The cell adhesion, spreading and growth of osteoblasts were analyzed with FITC staining, NIH Image J software and MTT assay. The change of cell cycle was monitored by flow cytometry (FCM). The results demonstrated that the Surface modification of BG with PLLA could significantly improve the dispersing of the particles in the matrix of PLGA. The nanocomposite with 20% PLLA-g-BG exhibited superior surface properties, including roughness and plenty of silicon, calcium and phosper, to enhance the adhesion, spreading and proliferation of osteoblasts.

介电泳方法被广泛地应用于微纳颗粒的分离和操纵中,实现介电泳操作的关键是设计满足所需电场分布的电极阵列。针对目前在微电极阵列设计中尚缺乏简单有效的电场解析方法的现状,提出一种基于格林公式的电极阵列电场的解析方法。首先介绍了传统介电泳和行波介电泳的概念和计算模型,分析了介电泳过程与电极上所施加的交变电压的频率和幅度的关系,然后在确立电极电势的边界条件的基础上,采用基于格林公式的电场解析方法,建立了非均匀电场的解析模型,得出不同条件下的电极阵列电场分布的仿真结果,最后利用FEMLAB有限元仿真软件对解析模型进行了对比仿真,验证了该解析模型的可行性。基于格林公式的电场解析求解方法能够有效地提高电极阵列设计中的针对性以及缩短电极设计的时间。

随着微/纳米器件及传感器制造的发展,需要一种对大量粒子进行有效操纵的方法,在此背景下,本文介绍了利用行波介电泳方法对大量微粒进行定位和传输操纵的实现方法,分析了利用行波电泳进行微粒操纵所需要的条件,介绍了实现行波介电泳微粒操控的实验系统及实验操作过程,并在该实验系统下实现了对聚苯乙烯小球悬浮及水平传输操纵实验。该系统方法和实现技术为液体环境下微/纳粒子的装配和分离提供了一种可行技术。

针对目前在纳米器件及传感器的制造中尚无对大量粒子进行有效操纵的方法,我们利用介电泳方法对大量微粒进行定位和传输操纵,介绍了利用MEMS工艺进行介电泳芯片加工的过程以及整个观测与实验系统的建立,通过有限元软件对传统介电泳和行波介电泳中电极阵列的电场分布进行求解,并在该实验系统下实现了对微通道中的悬浮高度和微粒的运动速度的测量.该实验系统的研究为液体环境下微纳颗粒的装配和分离提供了一条有效的技术路径.
