The room temperature creep behaviors of Ce-based bulk metallic glasses were examined by the use of nanoindentation. The creep rate and creep rate sensitivity of Ce-based BMGs were derived from indentation creep curves. The low creep rate sensitivity of Ce-based BMGs indicates that the room temperature creep is dominated by localized shear flow. The experimental creep curves can be described by a generalized Kelvin model. Furthermore, the creep retardation spectrum is calculated for the Ce-based metallic glasses. The results showed that creep retardation spectrum consists of two relatively separated peaks with the well defined characteristic relaxation times.

本文应用一次近似变分直接方法对于旋转液体柱、柱形液体环,柱面内外液体膜等各种情形的表面张力不稳定问题作了统一的处理,得到“柱芯-液体-液体-柱壳”系统旋转运动稳定的充要条件,使以往的研究结果均可作为特例导出。同时阐明了旋转不稳定的物理机理,澄清以往研究中存在的一些争论。

基于质点间相互作用,按照质点间连线的取向统计材料的应变能,提出了材料的三维链网模型,论述了数值计算中的优化离散方式,并得到了相应的最优立体角取值。标定了模型的几何、物理参数。通过典型算例比较了三维链网模型与有限元方法及剪滞模型的预测结果,验证了三维链网模型具有与有限元同等水平的求解能力和计算精度。

组建了一套利用静电探针诊断技术测量减压直流非转移弧等离子体射流速度的实验系统.对以纯氩为工质的等离子体,在气流量1.25×10~(-4) kg/s、弧电流80A、真空室压力165 Pa的条件下,测量了射流的速度及其分布.结果表明射流在发生器出口处中心最高速度约为1 200 m/s,在半径20 mm处减小到635 m/s.沿射流轴线方向的速度梯度约为10 (ms~(-1))/mm.射流速度随着弧电流增加而缓慢单调增加;当真空室压力从165 Pa提高到2 kPa时,发生器出口轴线上的射流速度从1200 m/s降至570 m/s.

Neutron production from a thin deuterium-tritium (D-T) foil irradiated by two intense femtosecond laser pulses from opposite sides with zero phase difference is studied analytically and numerically. For the interaction of a laser pulse of amplitude a = 7, focal area 100 mu m(2) and areal density 4.4 x 10(18) cm(-2) with a D-T plasma foil, about 1.17 x 10(21) neutron s(-1) can be obtained, much more than from other methods. The profiles of the ion and electron densities are also calculated.

We present a simple route for ZnSe nanowire growth in the ablation crater on a ZnSe crystal surface. The crystal wafer, which was horizontally dipped in pure water, was irradiated by femtosecond laser pulses. No furnace, vacuum chamber or any metal catalyst were used in this experiment. The size of the nanowires is about 1-3 mu m long and 50-150 nm in diameter. The growth rate is 1-3 mu m/s, which is much higher than that achieved with molecular-beam epitaxy and chemical vapor deposition methods. Our discovery reveals a rapid and simple way to grow nanowires on designed micro-patterns, which may have potential applications in microscopic optoelectronics. (C) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. Er3+-doped TeO2-based oxysulfide glasses have been prepared in argon atmosphere in carbon crucibles. The thermal analysis and spectroscopic properties of Er (3+) have been considered in terms of sulfide influence. As a function of composition, we have principally measured optical absorption, spontaneous emission and lifetime measurements. Judd-Ofelt theory was introduced to calculate bandwidth and emission cross-section. The results show the product FVMM x sigma(c) increase from 476.8 8 to 635.04 10(-21) cm(2) nm evidently with the addition of 10 mol% PbS into tellurite glass, which indicates a perfect effect on spectra property of Er3+ ions.
