Single-frequency output power of 7.3 W at 2.09 mu m from a monolithic Ho:YAG nonplanar ring oscillator (NPRO) is demonstrated. Resonantly pumped by a Tm-doped fiber laser at 1.91 mu m, the Ho:YAG NPRO produces 71% of slope efficiency with respect to absorbed pump power and nearly diffraction-limited output with a beam quality parameter of M-2 approximate to 1.1. Adaptive modification and use of Karr's index of biotic integrity (IBI) for the upper Yangtze River, including 12 metrics in five categories, have typically occurred in line with the data collected by 6-year commercial fisheries investigation. These investigations were undertaken annually in four sections of the Upper Yangtze main channel between 1997 and 2002. These four monitoring sections (Yibin - YB, Hejiang - HJ, Mudong - MD, and Yichang - YC) were selected because they represent the part of the river that will be covering a 1000 kin stretch that includes the future Three Gorges Reservoir (TGR), upstream of the Three Gorges Dam (TGD), an area influenced by the construction of TGD. in addition, historical data were used to show changes in the watershed by comparison with field investigations recently. The biotic integrity of the four sections were calculated and classified into different levels annually for recognizing its spatial and temporal variations. It was observed that IBI scores were becoming lower diminishingly since 1997 in all the four sections. Because all the data were collected before the impoundment of the Three Gorges Reservoir, it is obvious that human activities, especially over-fishing, must be crucial factor instead of damming in the upper Yangtze River in that period. Dynamic Power Management (DPM) is a technique to reduce power consumption of electronic system by selectively shutting down idle components. In this article we try to introduce back propagation network and radial basis network into the research of the system-level power management policies. We proposed two PM policies-Back propagation Power Management (BPPM) and Radial Basis Function Power Management (RBFPM) which are based on Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). Our experiments show that the two power management policies greatly lowered the system-level power consumption and have higher performance than traditional Power Management(PM) techniques-BPPM is 1.09-competitive and RBFPM is 1.08-competitive vs. 1.79, 1.45, 1.18-competitive separately for traditional timeout PM, adaptive predictive PM and stochastic PM.

本工作研究460 keV、3 MeV和308 MeV Xe23+辐照Al2O3单晶样品的光致发光特性。从经过460 keV Xe23+辐照后样品的光致发光测试结果可看到,波长为380、413和450 nm的发光峰明显增强,在390和564 nm处出现了新的发光峰。从3 MeV的Xe23+辐照后样品谱的变化可看到,在较低剂量条件下,516 nm(2.4 eV)和564 nm(2.2 eV)处的发光峰随辐照剂量增加而增强,且当剂量增到1×1016cm-2时,564 nm处的发光峰消失,只有516 nm(2.4 eV)处的发光峰较强。从308 MeV Xe23+辐照后样品的光致发光谱中可看到,357 nm(3.47 eV)和516 nm(2.4 eV)处的发光峰随着剂量增加明显增强。辐照后样品的FTIR谱显示:波数在460~510 cm-1和630 cm-1附近的吸收是Al2O3振动模式,经离子辐照后,吸收带展宽;1 000~1 300 cm-1间为Al—O—Al桥氧键的伸缩振动模式,高能辐照后的吸收带向低波数方向移动。

富镉Hg_(1-x)Cd_xTe是一种新型的光电转换材料,已用于固体结太阳能光伏电池:ITO/CdS/Hg_(1-)Cd_xTe/Au。我们曾对Hg_(1-x)Cd_xTe的电沉积机理作过研究。最近我们用电沉积制备的Hg_(0.09)Cd_(0.91)Te多晶薄膜做成了液体结太阳能光电化学电池并观察到明显光电响应。

本文研究了在酸性CdSO_4+HTeO_2~+6HgCl_2 电解液中多晶富镉Hg_(1-x),Cd_(?),Te(x>0.5)的电沉积过程,实现了三种离子在同一电位下共沉积的技术。对在钛基底上沉积出的薄膜进行XRD,SEM和EDAX分析,结果表明薄膜为闪锌矿型的多晶结构,分布均匀连续。考察了(1—x)=0.09时多晶薄膜在多硫氧化还原电对液中的光电化学行为,光强为100mW/cm~2时,短路光电流I_(sc)=1.88mA/cm~2,开路光电压V_(oc)=0.25V,填充因子F·F=0.22。由光电化学光谱所确定出的禁带宽度E_g=1.26eV,Mott-schottky曲线给出了电极的平带电位φfb为—1.26V(vs.SCE),从而得到开路光电压V_(oc)可能达到的最大值为0.49V。因此,多晶富镉Hg_(1-x)Cd_xTe薄膜是一种很有潜力的光活性电极材料。
