Pulverized coal combustion in tangentially fired furnaces with fuel rich/lean burners was investigated for three low volatile coals. The burners were operated under the conditions with varied value N-d, which means the ratio of coal concentration of the fuel rich stream to that of the fuel lean stream. The wall temperature distributions in various positions were measured and analyzed. The carbon content in the char and Nox emission were detected under various conditions. The new burners with fuel rich/lean streams were utilized in a thermal power station to burn low volatile coal. The results show that the N-d value has significant influences on the distributions of temperature and char burnout. There exists an optimal N-d value under which the carbon content in the char and the Nox emission is relatively low. The coal ignition and Nox emission in the utilized power station are improved after retrofitting the burners.

用动态光散射法研究了不同浓度NaCl对液—液扩散法生长溶菌酶晶体的影响,并测量了晶体生长前后体系的Zeta电势.结果表明,NaCl浓度较高时,在溶菌酶溶液—凝胶界面处会发生液液分层现象,溶液中一直存在较大的聚集体,生长出的晶体质量较差.而在合适的NaCl浓度下,随着溶液Zeta电势降低,溶液中溶菌酶的大的聚集体发生解聚集,生长出的晶体质量较高.

本文用运动论模型处理二能级连续波HF化学激光问题.对层流和湍流混合情况,给出了振荡器特性的具体计算公式,并在一定的(?)值和有限的化学泵浦速率K的情况下,精确求解了激光强度、功率和化学效率.计算结果表明,当加宽参数η<0.20时,非均匀加宽影响严重,必需采用运动论模型处理;η>0.20时,本文结果与速率模型结果比较接近,可用速率模型处理.

This paper deals with the interaction of solitary waves in a two-fluid system which consistsof two superimposed incompressible inviscid fluids with a free surface and a horizontal rigidbottom. Under the assumption of shallow water wave, we first derive the basic equationssuitable for the model considered, a generalized form of the Boussinesq equations, then usingthe PLK method and the reductive perturbation method, obtain the second-order approximatesolution for the head-on collision between two pairs of interface and surface solitary waves,and give their maximum amplitudes during the collision and the nonuniform phase shiftsafter the collision which lead to the distortion of the wave profiles.

In this paper, we briefly summarize two typical morphology characteristics of the self-organized void array induced in bulk of fused silica glass by a tightly focused femtosecond laser beam, such as the key role of high numerical aperture in the void array formation and the concentric-circle-like structure indicated by the top view of the void array. By adopting a physical model which combines the nonlinear propagation of femtosecond laser pulses with the spherical aberration effect (SA) at the interface of two mediums of different refractive indices, reasonable agreements between the simulation results and the experimental results are obtained. By comparing the fluence distributions of the case with both SA and nonlinear effects included and the case with only consideration of SA, we suggest that spherical aberration, which results from the refractive index mismatch between air and fused silica glass, is the main reason for the formation of the self-organized void array. NaYF4: 0.02Er center dot xYb-PVP composite nanofibers with the diameter of similar to 400 nm have been prepared by electrospinning. Field emission scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction have been utilized to characterize morphology and structure of the as-prepared electrospun nanofibers. Their up-conversion luminescence is investigated under a 980-nm excitation. Green (538 and 520 nm), red (6-55 nm), and blue (405 nm) emissions are observed in the up-conversion luminescence spectra, and the intensity of these three emissions changes differently with the variety of Yb content, which has been interpreted successfully in this letter. The color of NaYF4: 0.02Er center dot xYb-PVP nanolibers under a 980-nm excitation can be changed from green --> white --> yellow gradually via changing the Yb content.

为求解硅片表面微小粒子在任意线偏振平面入射光照射下的散射光光强分布,选择了基于Mie散射的杨氏模型为依据,推导了该模型下散射光强空间分布的计算方法,并给出了0.54/μm球形粒子在垂直、倾斜入射下光强空间分布的模拟计算结果,以及入射平面第一象限内散射光强与国外已发表实验结果的比较.

我们报道了一种以二极管泵浦的 1.94 μm Tm:YAP激光器为泵浦源,常温下在2.1 μm连续运行的Ho:YAG激光器。最大输出功率1.5 W,相应斜率效率为17.9%,二极管到的转换效率为5.6%。

We report the space selective precipitation of Pd nanoparticles in Pd2+ -doped silicate glass by ultrashort laser pulses irradiation and further annealing. Absorption spectra, transmission electron microscopy, refractive index measurement and Z-scan technique demonstrated that metallic Pd nanoparticles were precipitated in the glass sample after irradiation by an 800-nm femtosecond laser and subsequent annealing at 600 degrees C. We discuss a refractive index change and nonlinear absorption that combines the precipitation of Pd nanoparticles. Crown Copyright (c) 2005 Published by Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

ZnO具有优良的综合性能使其成为极有前途的下一代光电材料,水热法是一种重要的生长ZnO晶体的方法。本文对水热法生长的面积约150mm^2的ZnO晶体进行了报道,研究了晶体不同方向的生长速度、形貌特征和光学性能。X射线摇摆曲线表明晶体的质量较好。对于光学性质的分析表明晶体生长时加入H2O2能显著提高晶体的质量。494nm附近的发光带可能与氧空位有关。520nm的发光可能与Na或者Si所形成的杂质能级跃迁有关。

This paper reports room-temperature ferromagnetism in Co- and Cu-doped In2O3 samples synthesized by a solid-state reaction method. Structure and composition analyses revealed that Co and Cu were incorporated into the In2O3 lattices. Photoluminescence measurement revealed an additional emission at 520 urn from these doped samples. The magnetic measurement showed that additional Cu doping greatly enhanced the ferromagnetism of In1.99Co0.01O3 bulk samples. The implication of the effects of additional Cu doping is also discussed. In general, the propagating behavior of extraordinary wave in anisotropic materials is different from that in isotropic materials. With the tangential continuity of Maxwell's equations, the electromagnetic propagating behaviors have been investigated at the incident and exit interfaces of the uniaxial anisotropic thin film. The emphasis was placed on two interesting optical phenomena such as homolateral refraction behavior and wide-angle Brewster's phenomenon, which occurred at the interfaces of uniaxial anisotropic thin film.
